[is there a way to] dreaming more unrealistic things?

      hey all
      i have a question.

      you see
all the dreams i could record so far. where pretty much realistic and bound to thing that daily happen. they may have some small details wich aren't correct but for most of the time it all is like real life.

and believe it or not but i don't like this!
i wanna dream about stuff wich isn't possible! or about the future with all kinds of space things or just medieval battles raiding with trees! (for weird sample lol)

i don't think its my fantasy because i have a really great one! i can fantasize about really weird things!

      so my question is:
is there a way to dream more 'unrealistic' with more weird things happening.

because of this i slowly lose motivation to continue!

and i really wanna lucid dream! there are alot of experiments i want to try!

Imagining a thing and letting yourself be open enough to let crazy stuff happen are two different things. Let yourself go, open yourself up to the insanity of dreams. For me it was a control thing and when I gave it up, my dreams got way weird and I love it!
Also open your mind up to all kinds of impossible things. Your dreaming mind is following what you believe, if you don't feel you can do it then it will never happen.

In the dream world beliefs are tools. In the physical world you see beliefs as something that happens after a thing happens to you. You burn your hand on a flame so you know believe flames can burn you. In the dream world it is the opposite, you have to believe it BEFORE it can happen to you.

Here are some helpful things to have in your belief tool belt:

The dream world may actually be a true and real place. [this will let the world unfold with few limits]
You are indestructible. [this will let you drop your fears and is totally true]
You are way more than you have ever imagined. Past lives, future lives, present incarnations and or other possible you's living their own lives, have to be seen as, at least, possible. Never see a limit to you.

If you need any help with this or anything else feel free to ask.
      Free your mind

i will certainly look into it more

tobad i didn't have any lucids because then i would do alot of things that wouldn't happen in my normal dreams.
even my dream signs are a 'realistic' enough not to trigger lucidity atm

but the first thing i have to do now is to get my recall back
since school is so amazingly busy atm i can't concentrate enough on it
even my android apps aint have the effect i want

Hey Ramiel, I know exactly what you're talking about. On occasion I do have some pretty odd dreams but the majority of them are very... well normal. The context of the dreams is rarely different from normal day life, with a few exceptions such as living at an old house or speaking to people I haven't seen in ages, but they're almost never odd enough to make me realize I'm dreaming.

I have a very open mind and most of the day I spend thinking about odd and abstract things, so I'm a little disappointed at how boring and normal most of my dreams are.

I think if anything, this should just inspire you even more to become lucid, and hopefully with some dream control you can force the dream to take on a more interesting theme. And I totally get you about the 'realistic' dream signs, so I think perhaps you should rely more on reality checks in order to become lucid. I myself have tried and recently it has been helping me to gain lucidity better than relying on other dreamsigns that seem too vague and realistic to ever catch my attention. I've made it a custom to constantly check my watch during the day and ask myself if I'm dreaming. So far it's the only thing that's worked for me, but there's plenty of other reality checks you can do, just find one that works best for you.

      Good luck. :v

One thing you can try in this atmosphere of your life is to tell yourself or your dreamworld to help you in some aspect just before you go to sleep as in "Dreams, please help me understand WTH this anthropology instructor is talking about."
