      Multiple Endings - Alternate Endings

A couple of nights ago I had a dream that had multiple endings. It was almost like alternate endings to a movie.

I was camping with friends. The first ending we were hit by a tsunami and needed to flee. The second ending I was in the river as the tsunami hit and tried to swim away. The third ending we were not hit my the tsunami, but it was almost as if the tsunami had happened before we got there because the water levels were much higher. I made a dream journal entry about it.

Has anybody experienced something similar? Is this common? Any thoughts or opinions?

I've had this too. Recently I had a dream where I tried the ending twice but failed to eat the bug before it died each time anyway. The second time I tried eating it right away because I wasted too much time the first time.

I've had a couple of dreams where I wanted to see another outcome, though not lucid, the dream would always repeat at the very beginning, but I am always aware of what's going to happen.
Everything would just turn into a disaster though most of the times.

My nightmares are like that. It always repeats a couple times with different ending each time. Normally it will keep repeating until I solve it.

It's interesting to wonder if dreaming really is a way to solve problems. If so, that might explain why every987 has nightmares like that.

I wouldn't say that my bug dream was a nightmare though. I think it was about a conflict though. I think it was about me being in better circumstances and not having anything to worry about but missing the righteous anger I use to feel. I was overcoming my anxieties and now everything is just too peaceful.
