      Reoccuring dreams w/ animals

Hey, so last two nights I have had some really awesome dreams involving animals/insects.

      1) The dream was set in my room, at night, and I was in my bed when I noticed a HUGE insect; I think it was a beetle. It was near the ceiling at the corner of my room just chilling there. What I remember is its back, its back had a really intricate symbol. If I remember correctly it had a large S symbol from top to bottom and in the top right/left and bottom right/left coroners there were tear drop shaped DEEP ORANGE symbols which I thought was cool because I remember seeing color in my dream.

The insect then flew over to my bed, I got scared and hid under the covers thinking it will go away but it crawled up to my leg and bit it lol.

      2) THe next night I had a dream where I was on a beach with a dock, I walked to dock and saw a GIANT goldfish just chilling near the shoreline. I stepped off the dock and what a few meters on the beach when i was a GIANT EEl swimming really close to the shoreline, I watched it swim out of water and bite a lady just behind me.

I guess my question is wtf is with the biting? and that symbol I saw I think may have meaning....I drew something quick and keep in my mind I am no artist.

Well I have no idea why you are having dreams like this. Have you ever got bitten by an animal before? Maybe that experience is playing out in your dreams.

I think that you got what you expected - you hid from the bug thinking it would hurt you if it got near you - sure enough it hurt you when it got near you. Your emmotions play a really signifigant role in the way things play out in dreams. If you are lucid try an experiment- if something isn't working for you the way you want it to- simply imagine it working the way you want it to. Next time don't hide from the beetle, walk up to it and ask it a question, you may get an answer because you are wxpecting a different result.

If this becomes a dream sign and a recurring theme in your dreams, it will greatly help with becoming lucid.

I wouldn't say that having the same thing in two different dreams would be recurring, though... For example I have a recurring wolf, been in about 10 dreams.
      Lucid dreaming goals:

Fly( ) Tame a recurring wolf that has been in about 10 different dreams/nightmares ( ) Fly on a Night Fury from HTTYD ( ) Ask my subconscious why I have so many nightmares ( )
Fight agent Smith ( ) Ride a huge spider to a battle against a beenest ( ) Face all of my nightmare creatures and beat them ( ) Be a god ( )
