Awesome psychology homework!!!

I am in a psychology class in my school and for the next few weeks we are in the sleep section and our assignment for the weekend is to write down our dreams. Finding out about that assignment I was thinking wow homework I might actually do. I was thinking though if I dont have any really interesting dreams I will probably just use an entry from my dream journal and say that it was recent. But really I hope to have an amazing lucid dream that will make the whole class jealous that they dont have dreams as awesome as mine.

Lulz, I had a similar assignment for my Psych class last year. I had an amazing dream that night but I was too embarrassed to write it down and hand it in. Instead, I just made up a dream about taking care of my neighbor's dog and then being mauled by it. Anyways, hope your dreams are interesting enough to satisfy you. Try drinking apple juice before bed, it usually helps trigger some crazy dreams.

Well last night I had an amazing dream. Well I thought it was amazing but it isnt something I would write down and turn in so I hope for something better tomorrow night.

I didn't do that assignment. I didn't want to write my dreams down twice! My gosh, at least give me homework that involves learning the material.

No we had to analyze them for common symbols

Umm well Nothing more than the fact that I was flying in one of my dreams is supposed to mean something about ambitionand that another dream just meant that I wanted to be with someone.

Try finding the main themes. Sometimes you look at each individual symbol description and see different possibilities, which can be confusing. If you can identify the possible themes shared between the different symbols, you can spot a main theme though. For example, I had a dream where I was on a swing in a backyard and a blackbird landed on my hand but then flew away. The swing and backyard each had different possibilities but I realized that one common idea between them was childhood. Childhood = escaping from responsibilities. Blackbird = determination. That made it very simple. Sometimes it's easier to spot the main themes than other times.
