      Post Dream journal app

I didn't exactly know where to put this, but anyway...

Ive had a tablet for a while now, and just of pure curiosity, I searched for dream journal at the AppStore, and I got disappointed... I also searched for it on the android market, and nothing big to find there either. So, the reason I made this thread was to just brainstorm a few ideas of the ultimate lucid dreaming journal pro deluxe version with you guys here on DV, and maybe find someone who can make this miracle come true

So, a few ideas that I've been thinking on:
      The app need to have

      - A good, and user friendly way to tag dreams
      - A progress bar that can show progress in number lucids etc.
      - Connection to DV, so you can publish/synch your DJ to the forum
      - A cool, dreamy theme
      - Night mode, with low light so that you can write just when you wake up
      - An app for iPad, iPhone, android tablets, and android phones
      - Maybe an alarm specially designed for lucid dreaming purposes (like a really short and loud one for DEILDing)
      - Maybe some LD stuff ( like DV DJs) to read when WBTBing etc...

I'm sure I could have kept on forever, but you see the point. So, what is your idea to the ultimate DJ app, and if you are into programming and stuff, could you be interested in making this app?

and yeah, I'm writing this on my iPad, that's why apple products and "AppStore" are so nicely written( autocorrect...)

Yeah, the DV's journal system is a great tool!

I is easy to you and the fact that other people will read your dreams, will motive and help with recall.

It would be really cool if there was like an official DV app that synced with your DJ and stuff, for iphone or android. Definitely with an option for a dark theme either way. I feel like I've read somewhere here that it would be too expensive though.

Hey, a quick question: what do you think of typing on a virtual keyboard at night. I'm way too groggy to be able to coherently spell stuff letter after letter. Over the years I kinda learned to scribble my thoughts in a semi-automatic way. It requires me to maintain the image of a dream and explore it, while putting stuff on paper. Or are you talking about a dream journal that you would be filling up after waking up?

Arch and Sil3nt: These apps are great for scribbling and stuff, but none of them can sync with DV, have a progress system in lucid dreaming etc and so on.
Ev: I don't know, but anyway, I think I would have found the app very useful

Personally, I can type fine on my iPod at night, and I use the notes function a lot to record bits of dreams, both in the middle of the night or just after waking up. I tend to have trouble typing accurately on my phone even when wide awake though, and also the screen is a lot brighter at night, so I doubt I'd get a DJ app for it.

      He meant to say voice.

The voice of Merlin is actually in the app, albeit very synthetic.
