Meeting people you have seen before but they have never seen you??

This is happening a lot to me lately, for example: I went to meet my son's Kindergarten teacher and her mom was in there, I walked into that classroom and looked at this women who i swore i knew well enough to go up to her and hug her and ask her how she had been and i hadn't seen in a long time but for some reason she thinks we have never met before. I have only lived in this state i am in for 8 years and i swear i know this person closely. Then it happened again to me before Christmas where i met a nice gentleman at a Moose lodge that i swear i had sat down with before this and had a conversation but neither one of us knew how or where we had met and he swears he never had seen me before. Anyone else have this happen to them???

That is strange! I just did the same thing yesterday, but it was online (here). An old member had returned and I welcomed her back, thinking I had talked to her before, but she had no idea who I was. In my case the solution is simple though - I had run across old threads where she had posted and after reading enough of what a person says you get the feeling like you kind of know them - like when you watch a TV show all the time you feel like you know the characters. In your case it's not so easy. Deja Vu maybe? It's possible you did meet them and they just don't remember, though it's strange you can't remember any specifics of your conversations with them. I've had those weird moments where I';ll see somebody and for a moment I think it's somebody I used to know, but turns out to just look like them. Or those even weirder moments when the same thing happens, but I can't tell if it's actually the person or just looks like them, and then I start to feel weird because I start wondering if they're wondering why I don't say anything... What a tangled weave we web, huh?

I do this a lot, i swear either i have met them before in another life or God has put them in my path for a reason and now i am not sure if i just contradicted myself by stating those 2 comments lol
