Anyone else have a problem with oceans in their dreams?

I frequently have dreams in which I am near or on a beach, and every single time I look at the ocean the waves start getting bigger. Eventually I am being sucked out into unrealistically huge waves, and managing maybe one breath between being dragged through the water like a rag doll. I usually become lucid in these dreams, and I just wake myself up, because I find myself unable to escape the waves even when lucid.

any ideas as to why?
