Overly Large Structures & Areas in dreams

Often in my dreams I'm in familiar buildings, houses, or even unfamiliar ones that seem to have immense proportions both inside and out. Sometimes even familiar areas, landscapes, seem to be overly large in proportion.
Is this supposed to be common in dreams?
      Does anyone else experience this?
Also, any thoughts of what this means?

      It's okay.

Anything beats a mundane dream. But dreams are not supposed to be "common" in the first place.
