Last night I went to bed doing inductions for my dream recall, which has slipped the past couple of days. After only recalling a sliver of a dream, which I wrote into my journal, I went back to bed and repeated the induction. This time I remembered a portion of the dream, and after sitting still for awhile, parts of the dream came back to me.
After I entered it into the journal I went back to bed again and did the induction again. However, while I was doing this, Another part of the previous dream came to me. At least I think it was part of the last dream. In this dream I wake up in my bed, but I question if I was really awake or If I was dreaming.
At this point I look at my hands. I don't know if anyone had this experience with the hands before, my hands looked transparent as if they were glass. In fact, I looked at them three times. Now, I didn't experience any great sense of awareness, so that makes me wonder was this merely happening in my dream story line.
But this is not the only thing that happened. Every time i looked at my hands my room, from my visual point of view looked and felt as if it were slightly moving. I don't know if anybody remembers the old analog t.v. sets, how whenever there was a bad reception the picture would start to roll and them fall back into place. That's what it was like.
Keep in mind I am not claiming that I had a near LD. I'm just wondering could this be a positive sign that I am making progress. This was after all the first time I ever did a reality check in my dreams. I understand that a failed reality check sometimes mean that you are mindlessly doing RC in waking life. Let me assure you, I DO NOT do mindless RC. I always question my reality and ask if I'm dreaming.
So, whether or not this was a real RC or not, I have to feel that this means something.
Any insight would be greatly appreciated.
