the bigger picture, the universe & lucid's

this might sound daft but....... Ever since i learned about a lucid dreams i see a bigger picture, i think about all sorts of things in a wider scale but the biggest and most un-answered thing i can think of is the stars/universe and in some way i feel they are connected. not for any particular reason i just feel that they are as just as un-answerable as each other..... any thoughts?????? in some crazy way i feel that they are both connected to death....... as i said it could just be me but f**k it why not ask??????

**Thread moved to General Dream Discussion** I've found that I look for more connections and I'm open to more perceptions since being here. I find myself thinking more about my surroundings. It's good that LDs have prompted you to ponder these questions more. Life is connected to death. Even stars die. Every beginning has an end. Every end leads to a new beginning. People have pondered these questions for as long as consciousness and we still don't know the answers.

You say every end leads to a new beggining. what makes you so sure? that is my whole point all we know is life "as we know it" has an end but the universe in general is FAR bigger than "life as we know it" so whats not to say that when we die...... we awake..... im not for one in afterlife but it just seems too simple to think "that is it" but lucid dreams does make me think EVERY thing we know is just the very basics!

When a star dies, the atoms from the star are scattered across the universe and it is what allows us to be alive and what everything is made out of. We are essentially made out of the same atoms in a star so you could say we are made out of "star stuff". That is why with the death of a star, there is always a new beginning for something else. So yeah, this does make us connected with the stars in some way I guess

The universe began when something happened, which was an end to whatever that may have been. We will live and die, a constant cycle of atoms as long as this planet exists. Our sun began...and will someday die...and then be something else. Our universe began...and will someday become dark and cold...and then it will be something else. Depending on your view of entropy the universe has several possibilities. Every end is a beginning. I don't know if we have another life coming to us...but I'm going to find out someday. Or I won't.
