the other night i dreamt that i had a dream. in my dream i fell asleep in my friends car and my dream scene changed completely.still dreaming, i woke up in my friends car again and told him about the dream i just had.

has anyone else experienced something like this?
The first step to making a dream come true is to wake up!

No worries, many of us feel lost within our dreams from time to time. Dreams are such that we are all on a discovery path and we learn so much from them through out our journey. Your dream might have a different meaning to you than it does for the rest of us, yet dreams are always surrounded by energy. Focus on what that energy means to you and how you can use it along your journey. No one has all the answers but that's a good start. All the best.

Yes, nested dreams like this are really common. I actually had one a few months ago where I also fell asleep in a car and had another dream. I sometimes have three or four nested inside each other.

I'm saying this because you titled your thread "dreamception". These dreams are not like Inception. There is no different dream or reality you enter when you wake up into the nested dream. The dream and nested dream are all part of the same dream, just different dream subplots.

I had a really cool experience where I dreamt that I was dreaming and in that second dream I was lucid. Really weird, but a cool experience.
