The only reason I know why someone will stop dreaming about certain dream symbols is because, the meaning behind the symbol no longer bothers them in real life. |

I've been keeping track of my dreams lately, had a few lucid ones as well. What bothers me is that after i identify a recurring dream sign it just disappears from my dreams entirely. For example, i used to dream a lot about the snow and the reality is that it doesn't snow much around where i live. When i put the word snow on my dream signs list, i STOPED dreaming about snow. Later i identified lots of white color as a dream sign, and again, white stopped being dominant color in my dreams... |

Well that makes sense, i had the same idea, just wan't sure. It happened with every dream symbol i managed to interpret (5 so far) i just got worried if i'm gonna lose a lot of future dream content if i keep interpreting the symbols. This morning something weird happened. I had a very interesting dream, woke up, went back to sleep and then had a dream about interpreting the previous dream and i woke up this morning with an answer already in my head.... |

I don't think there's anything to worry about, that just gives you more chances to experience other dream signs. If you're really concerned about it, you can try incubating dream signs into your dreams. |

Maybe you should start being more aware in your dreams overall. Take everything in, don't limit your chance of lucidity to a few set dream signs. |

I don't limit myself to a few dream signs i just noticed that as soon as i identify a dream sign or interpret a dream symbol they simply disappear from my dreams. Then i spend few nights dreaming, identify a new dream sign and.... you guessed it, it's gone again... |
