Before you act on a memory, make sure you can remember where it fit into your day. For example try to think about what you did before and after you started repairing your car, if it is something that happened in real life you should be able to remember what time it happened, at least generally. If you can't remember when it happened, or if you can't fit it in with the other things you did that day, then you should assume that it happened in a dream, unless something suggests otherwise. |
