Linking emotions. Confused about the message my mind is trying to give me...

Reality: A couple of days ago I went shopping. I tried a blouse on, thought it looked cool on me, but I was hesitant to buy it. Also, the price was a little expensive and I was broke at the time. So I let it go. (I was almost sure to not buy it, but when I got back home, I looked at the pic I took and secretly wished I had bought it)

Last night I dreamed that I was in my room, looking through my clothes and I found this specific blouse between them. A little messy between my other clothes, but was folded. I was surprised, confused about how it got there, whether I had "stolen it or not' but I was very happy to find it in there.

Reality: Yesterday (before the dream) I broke up with my boyfriend via text. I was very hesitant to break up with him, but I didn't want to stay in the relationship either. I love him very much but I felt like some of my needs were not being met and that our relationship is not strong enough... also, I feel like he is faking emotions with me, and our relationship mostly doesn't feel right... I also don't trust him... When I told him that we should stop seeing each other, he asked me what was wrong and I told him that everything feels like a lie to me. He said, "maybe we should stop seeing each other then". I kind of wish, a very small percentage that we would get back together and work things out...

He was in the dream, but in a different scene... I don't remember much of it but we were going to meet or something... I think he called me, but I don't remember picking up... or maybe I picked up and then I have 0 memory of the rest of it.

I don't understand the question here. Are you confused because you broke up with your boyfriend, but then dreamed of him that night?

As for the blouse, whenever I go shopping and find something I like but is a little out of my price range, I allow myself to buy it if I dream about it that night. I take it as my subconscious saying "It's ok to splurge on this item".

As you seem to be linking the blouse incident with the break up, maybe there is a link. In your dream you were kind of excited and guilty to find the new blouse amongst your old things. Maybe this is telling you that you are right to move on to new things, despite your mixed feelings.
