Post some of the oldest dreams you can remember

Hi I thought this would make an interesting thread ( and I wanted to share some of mine). So post some of the oldest dreams you can remember. Soon I might post a favorite dream thread if nobody else has already. Here's one of mine

      1. I'm coming back inside from our backyard. I close the sunroom door behind me and it opens again. I close it again and it opens. I try to close it and it shuts closed really fast.

I'm scared because my vision has turned gray and the world feels untrustworthy. I open the door to our kitchen I see a person I don't know sitting on a chair out in another room. They stare at me and I try to wake myself up.

Ok I must explain something, when I was little I didn't know they were dreams but I could somehow understand that I had to escape and wake up. I did this thing where I shake my head really fast. It was a risk because either I would wake up in my bed, or It would make the nightmare worse. I used this technique probably 15 times or so. Anyway I tried it in this dream, and it made things worse.

This big plush spongebob I have was running at me I ran into the sunroom. And it creepily hopped around the table we have there as if it was a puppet and someone was dangling it up and down I was running from it in the table

I managed to escape back into the kitchen and the person was gone. Spongebob, however was throwing itself at the glass door. For some reason a snapping turtle appeared and started chasing me around, while spongebob was freaking out trying to get me.

I woke up finally, and hid under my covers for about an hour.

Oldest dream I remember is from when I was 3 or 4 (back in the 1970's), Me, my sister (2.5 years older) and my dad were walking on our driveway, eating potato chips, and some of them had black in them, so we thru them over our shoulders and it made monsters appear.
      I woke up after that.

That is the oldest dream I remember, but I have a quite a few from growing up that I still remember.

Going to point out that my last "monster/scary dream" was around 6th grade, when I realized while dreaming that it was like a monster movie on TV, and started to enjoy the dream. After that, I never had another monster in my dream, unless you count the Step Mom.

A dream from my childhood that is significant to me. However, I am sure it has changed with retelling over the years, and I no longer know how much of this is part of my original dream:

My family (including a grandmother of mine who by then had died) were stranded on an unihabited island. There was a creepy abandoned old house there, in which we established our residence. One day I had changed into a swim suit, but the sea around the island changed into a bloody red and stormy sea. My grandmother (the one who had died in reality) suddenly developped prophetic powers in this dream. She told us that during a stormy night a pair of strangers would appear and seek shelter in our home. These strangers would actually be the king and queen of monsters in disguise, and at the strike of midnight they would turn into monsters. They would battle my father. At this point in the prophetic story my grandmother took out a ring and handed it to my father saying that this ring alone could protect him. However, it would save us only if the ring dropped to the floor accidentally during the fight, and this would not work if it were dropped on purpose. And all that my grandmother predicted came to pass, and the ring fell out of my father's pocket as he was almost loosing the fight against the monsters. The sound of the ring against the floor was actually the sound of my alarm clock which woke me up.
