Thread: The oldest dream you can remember

The earliest dream I can recall is being on the top floor of an incredibly tall skyscraper; definitely the tallest building around. One could see for miles, and the colors were really strong. What was actually out there, though, was kinda vague; I remember buildings and trees, and maybe a lake. The actual room I was in was one huge empty space. The walls were plate glass windows, and the floor was carpet. Everything was really grey inside, typical of an office building, I suppose. I was really young in the dream; probably 3 or 4 years old. I was all alone in that room, but i didn't feel scared or anything.

Well I'm not sure if this was the earliest one I can remember but I did used to have this dream that re-occurred a bit. It was when I was about 4 i think, anyway, all it was was me falling and then landing in a pond, it was sorta a nightmare back then.

It's just a short nightmare-ish dream. I was around 10 (6 and a half years ago) and in my dream I was sitting in the back of the car. I was bored so I tried to look in one of the mirrors hanging. In it I saw myself (Now I think of it, I've never really seen sharp images in dream mirrors besides this time...) with long red hair. I'm a boy, and my hair is short and blond, so I kinda freaked out.

I told my dad who was driving the car that I looked like a girl with this hair. Then everything went black, I heard scissors cutting away my hair and a few seconds later the car crashes. Then the dream stopped. My guess is that my father stopped watching the road and grabbed the scissors.

That sounds like fun

I remember mine very clearly.

We had put some pancakes in the oven to rise, (I know... makes no sense.)

As they got hotter the pancakes started turning into the heads of demons.

One looked like dracula and the other like ET. !?!

I wasn't scared tho. Just thought it was kinda cool.

All my dreams from being young are pretty vague, I think the one that sticks in my head was one of the scariest dreams I ever had. I was about 11 at the time.

My parents had gotten a letter from my cousin in the USA and I was really dying to know what the letter was about. I waited until they went into another room, found the letter and opened the envelope then I jumped into the envelope as I 'knew' that way I could be a part of the letter rather than just read it.....what followed was a nightmare of huge proportions, I found myself in some sort of space craft that had a 'zoo' where myself and loads of strange creatures were locked in cages....we had been kidnapped by aliens (not the usual greys but hairy big nasty aliens lol) The dream is way too long to tell it all. Although I had controlled the dream by jumping into the envelope I couldnt control any of it once I 'arrived' To this day thinking of the dream makes me shudder.

I just remembered another one which is probably a little older than the other one. Basically I saw a huge pink bubble flying, and I stepped in. I arrived in a huge pink place full of teddybears that were walking around. There was one boy beating them up telling me 'Go ahead, they don't mind!'. For the rest of the dream I was beating up oversized walking teddybears.

My parents have always been very into Spanish soap operas.. so when I was about 4, I dreampt that one of the characters from some show was sitting in my room. Then we went together into the kitchen where my parents were, and I was excited to show them who I had found.

I don't know why I remembered this particular dream. It must have been very emotional?

In my oldest dream im standing infront of a mirror, the mirror image is worng the bacround has not been mirroredand the glass is invisible. My mirror-me (wat i call the mirror image of my self) is like an older version of me wery goth/evil creepy looking. and has no eyes. he drags me into the mirror and dissapears. the nightmare feeling starts and i forget him. i look out my window and see boiling grass/snow. i try to open a door but the door is like not there and i can see the things behind it. ( im getting scared just of thinking of the dream) as i walk into my kitchen the fridge falls over me andi wake up. i think i had the dream when i was abaout 2-3 years old. and iv had the same dreems a few times lately... after i played silent hill at night...

i was about 5 years old and i dreamt a man dressed in white Bedouin robes in his late 20's came to my house. (i didnt know they were bedouin at the time)
he was radiant and had an amazing smile. he asked for my dad and they sat down together having a good conversation and they were laughing.

im not sure if he was my guardian angel though because every night i tried to dream about him again but it never happened.

this is a good thread idea. i can remember a dream from a LONG time ago and it was all fuzzyish and it seemed like an intro to some animated tv show and i was in some room and then my view panned along to some goose and i hopped on it and we flew away and the camera view kept panning along and thats all i remember. it was really weird but i think its the earliest dream i can remember.

The earliest dream I can recall was from when I was 5. I am encased in a walnut shell and it is spinning quite terribly fast and I am in total darkness. When the spinning stops I reach out one arm to feel for the ground and find some huge animal ready to take my arm off. It grabs my arm in its mouth and I wake up.
My second earliest is more interesting. It was basically this walk through a forest to a single distinct tree that shone from the top. This tree would transform as I approached and the leaves would become petals and it resembled more a gigantic rose than a tree. There was always alight coming from the top of it and only once did I manage the climb up to it. I found a nondescript person sitting meditation style at the top. They were glowing very strongly. I wanted to reach and touch them but I never made it that far before it would end or transform or I would wake up.

MY first memory was a dream... Yet, it was realized.. :p

My first dream that I can remember was that there were eyes in the corners of the ceiling of my room. They kept looking at me, and blinking. This was a recurring dream for many many nights, to the point where my parents actually put me in another room. I must have been about 4 or 5 at the time.

When i was about 5...i had a dream about an upsidedown world. I met them through my attic...there was an upsidedown me and upsidedown friends (exactly the same as this world).

I decided to ask if they wanted to be friends, and they said yes and stabbed me in the back (i still remember the pain) xD All of us were killed by our upsidedown selves lol
