      Alcohol and opiates

      So this is a double topic so I don't waste more time. First- people say you can't dream on alcohol and yes usually you can't but the other night I had about 15 beers in 3 hours and had dreams all night 2nd I can't stop dreaming about pain killers every night iv had all of em rocsy a Oxys Vic's Percs w/e but I don't so em daily not even monthly but iv been doing em for years now and I dream about attaining them often times its a recurring kill my uncle for opiates dream and I just wondering what y'all gotta say since ur dreamers

      Actually, it's pretty well known that alcohol can enhance dreams. The way it suppresses REM early in the night and then causes REM rebound is similar to how melatonin and 5-HTP work, among other things.

      As for dreaming about opiates... I'm guessing it just means you really want those drugs lol. The killing your uncle thing is a little intense, but emotions often get taken pretty far in dreams. I wouldn't take it seriously, more just metaphorically, to show how much you want them. And who can blame you? They're addictive for a reason. >.> But remember that the more you focus on those dreams the more you're likely to have them, too. It could just be coincidence that they show up, but if you think about them a lot then you could be incubating them again.

      As a dreamer I would suggest fewer intoxicants = more quality dreams.
