Good by to my lucid dreams/.

My doctor recommended me to dring Chamonille tea before going to bed, because of my insomnia.
Now, I can sleep but I do not have any lucid dreams and what is worst, I do not remeber my dreams at all/

that's very unfortunate! you may want to try different remedies until you find one that doesn't affect your LDs. ironically it could have been your insomnia that was facilitating your ability to LD -- i find when i wake up early or sleep fitfully my dream recall, and my LD frequency, is much increased... of course no one wants to have to make the tradeoff between being able to LD and being able to function in real life.

i can't give any suggestions for insomnia treatment unfortunately -- what works and doesn't work is very dependent upon one's physiological and psychological state, especially with herbal remedies whose effects can be quite subtle. personally i have severe insomnia and have to take a cocktail of potent sedative pharmaceuticals to fall asleep at a reasonable time, but i haven't found that they've significantly affected my dream recall or LD frequency -- and yet i know people who can't dream if they drink half a cup of coffee in the morning, or eat a specific food, or what have you.

      dreaming is a fickle mistress

At least your doc didn't put you on something really heavy duty like Ambien or something. Or maybe he/she did but you've failed to mention that. Either way, here's some advice: don't rely on drugs to sleep.

      - Look into dietary supplements that can help with sleep, like foods that contain B12 or melatonin (apples and bananas both seem to work quite well).

      - Get lots of exercise during the day but not right before bed.

      - If your problem is not feeling tired then I suggest reading a book before bedtime and not engaging in activities that would stress you out in any way, like partying.

      - if you have somnophobia then try sensory stuff, like leaving a television on, using sound devices, night light, etc.

Well after 20 days with no LD.s I had one last night. I went to bed at 10.00 pm and I felt a some point that my bed was moving clockwise. I realized that I was having a dream. Suddenly I was in a vertical position in front of my bed and inmediately a began moving outside of my home. It lasted for a few minutes before I waked up. I was just 11:15 son I have a LD. after sleeping less than 2 hours.

Hmm, are you sure the chamomile tea is causing you to not dream or fail to LD? Chamomile is knows to relax the body and help one sleep, but I do not believe it suppresses dreams. Could it be that the reason why you are not LDing is actually due to cause of why you were having insomnia to begin with? For example, stress can cause insomnia and interferes with LDing. Chamomile tea could help your body relax enough to fall asleep, but the underlying stress may still be there causing you to not LD.

This reminds me of an example in a Sociology textbook I once read, where they cautioned readers to not assume cause and effect prematurely without considering possibility of common cause for two things that do not have cause and effect relation: storks do not bring babies nor are they found under cabbage leaves, however, statistically there is a correlation between the incidence of storks, cabbages, and babies: all of them are more common in the countryside than in big cities, but that correlation does not imply causation.

I am wondering whether people drink Chamomile tea to help them relax to help with insomnia, and those people are less likely to LD statistically, not because Chamomile tea suppresses LDs, but because of stress as a common cause of insomnia and thus the desire to drink Chamomile tea and of suppressed dreams and LDs.
