Grandmother not dead - Musical instruments - Hunzakuts? - Almond Pie - Bakery

I woke from a dream that was fairly recent; I just went to bed at about 9 PM. I woke at about Midnight and was typing this for nearly an hour.

At the earlier point I remember, I was dreaming about a people high in the mountains, I believe. They had a temple or synagogue of some kind and I think perhaps they were the Hunzakuts. I witnessed a coronation of one African-American person into the tribe or their spirituality. He went down a slope in the building as oil was poured down the slope and there was a reflection at the bottom of the slope, He turned around to look at that point but turned back and completed it.

(I rarely ever use the word "Coronation" And I don't believe I knew the meaning of it, At least I didn't know it well, Before I just typed it and looked up what it meant.)

Later, I asked him why he turned around. I believe he said something reflecting "Turning back to see what things were like before" And we kept walking in a building to our destination along the sides of the wall of the building as beyond that, There was no floor. I believe our feet were changed in shape and there were three toes. I went to a place to play musical instruments with people and after I was there I nearly fell down at one point or leaned against a structure to my left.

At this point it gets a bit hazy. It would appear, At least, That I went on a walk first and the next musical instruments part was not linked.

      -

At some point, I believe I took a walk. I passed by a house that I believe was Rick's and he had many cabbage plants growing in his (expanded between the house and street compared to waking life) yard, Along with across the street. He was standing on the porch, I think leaning against a column which I find odd as I don't recall a porch roof. I started to talk to him but it took three times before he heard me; I was starting to get a little annoyed by the third time - That sounds like me. I said I never noticed all those cabbage plants around his house before and pointed them out; Some of them were quite big and I don't mean that they were your normal large cabbage plant; From a distance, One looked to be two feet tall.

In reality, Rick is overweight and I had been thinking of this in the day; I'd seen him in a grocery store earlier in the day. I realized I don't know what it's like to be over 200 pounds, And he is over that. I'd gone to a woman's blog page "www.escapefromobesity.net" Yesterday too and it finally occurred to me that my thoughts of obesity weren't correct.

I was playing musical instruments that belonged to Rick who attended a place in the back of a restaurant or grocery store, I think. He brought a number of strange instruments which I played and a few other people were there, Too, Though I don't know who. At one point I nearly dropped one of the instruments which was red or had a cherry burst finish and I decided to not take any more chances with it for the time being.

(I go to a band practice at a local church occasionally and Rick did attend twice in recent months to watch; He'd like to learn how to play guitar.)

I went into another room, Then all of a sudden there was my deceased maternal Grandmother dressed in gold with some gold face paint on the left side of her face and she was wearing her glasses, As normal, And she was smiling. She said it was time to put the musical instruments away and I complied, Giving her a white three-string short-scale bass-like instrument that was played with a bow. There were other strange musical instruments that Rick had which I wasn't able to play.

My Grandmother asked me, Smiling "So, Do you think you're goin'?" And I said "I don't know." "I hope so." As my Grandmother and I went into the back room, My Mother passed her and didn't notice her. More people came into the back room.

Regarding my grandmother: I've had a few dreams involving her since her death last year, Most of them if not all positive; One in which she was standing outside my grandfather's pickup truck with me at the wheel and him in the back seat, A bit confused; Another in which I saw her in the house she lived in; One in which I was surprised but happy she wasn't dead; And one in which she said "I never gained much weight" Which was in relation to my low weight of about 144 at the time; I wasn't listening to my parents regarding eating more at the time and she died of cancer; She didn't get out of the house much so she didn't get much sun and she scarcely ate anything or got vitamins from food to fight against cancer. (On a cancer-related note, One of the last things she wanted to eat in the last few weeks of her life was an orange. I'm thinking this is partially due to Vitamin C.)

Then later, There was talk about what I think was a restaurant and the customers. I think Rick had something to do with the restaurant and I don't believe he owns one in waking life. I was then in an office and someone mentioned how no pie was worth eating except Almond Pie and how "The beer activates the wheat" In the pie.

Come to think of it, A Beer-Almond Pie doesn't sound too bad to eat even from my health perspective; I'm 160 pounds, Male and I haven't been eating breakfast on most days for the last two weeks; This is in imitation of the Hunzakuts.

(Note: I'm not sure why I put "Bakery" In the title now.)

(And at the quick Google search, I'm not finding quite what I'm looking for as far as Almond Pies with Beer recipes are involved.)

I am particularly intrigued by the cermony, where the subject had turned to look back at a reflective surface to "see what things were like before". I take that as very symbolic, if not just a neat metaphor.

It is heartwarming that your dreams about your grandmother are positive. When I read the one where she said you weren't gaining weight, it shows the feeling of how much she cared for you / cares for you.

Do you think there is a connection between these two? And I don't know what to make of Rick and the cabbage plants at all. That part might be random.

I goofed a bit about the coronation; He turned around away from the reflective surface. I was also pouring oil at one point, From a wooden structure above the coronation slope which ended leveling out a little bit on the floor with walls on three sides.

As for the one where my grandmother said "I never gained much weight" I think she was talking about herself; She didn't eat much. But, It was in hopes that I gain weight, I think.

As for Rick and the cabbage plants, After I saw him in a grocery store I was thinking of him that day. Knowing he drinks soda a lot, I looked up some things regarding obesity. With that in mind and a dream interpretation from An Online Guide To Dream Interpretation which says:

"To see or eat cabbage in your dream suggests that you should not waste time with petty things in your life. You live and thrive on life's challenges. Alternatively, the dream refers to your unwise choices or decisions. You need to rethink some of your decisions. "

I think it has to do with Rick's body weight. After I talked to him in the dream he replied and said something like "Oh yeah, There are many of them". In life, Rick doesn't grow any plants in his yard that I know of.
