add me to the list, I've been shocked by the total lack of interest in lucid dreaming amongst those I've talked to about it. It baffles me. I feel like the issue is how useless words are at conveying the sheer awesomeness of it. Saying "you can fly! and it feels real!" doesn't really do much. People imaginations are atrophied, I blame modern movies and video games.

I don't rule out the idea that only certain people are meant to get into LD'ing. That line of thinking gets real 'out there' real fast though, but I really don't get how so many people can not give two shits about being able to fly at mach 2 and have sex with Scarlett Johansson (or ryan gosling for the females out there) at the same time, or experience unconditional love and pure joy at the same time. HOW?!?!

Replying of my own perception and without reading others' responses, I've always had vivid and powerful dreams since I was a child. I suppose even if we seek to reject most human contact, we may seek connection through other methods and along other lines of space/time/et cetera.

That said, dreams can announce hidden desires/thought/experiences. People are especially vulnerable to sharing their deep experiences when there are many outlets of criticism, ridicule, and rumination.

I see myself as very luck for having a friend that randomly found lucid dreaming. I've had so much fun speaking with him about the topic
Have first real, long, vivid, Lucid Dream[x]
