Most terrifying... yeah, when my mum turned out to be a witch and killed my siblings right before my eyes before coming at me. I shut my eyes as hard as I could within the dream and woke up, luckily. I had this dream at the age of about nine or ten from what I remember. Pretty damn scary.

My happiest and saddest were both achieved in the same lucid dream. Even though I was lucid I managed to fall in love with a DC and then, well, woke up, which was very, very sad indeed.

I wouldn't be able to say which of my dreams is my all-time favourite. I haven't had any experiences which were too special yet, although I've had some pretty damn cool ones, like the one in which I fought Agent Smith from The Matrix with my epic kung fu karate skills

Oh wow, that does sound terrifying. How did you look at your mum afterwards? ( ?)

Mine was a similar experience, where I was reunited with my Mom (she passed away), which made me happy, but upon waking up was filled with sadness (but still happy I had the dream).

Ha! That's awesome. I love dreams like that. I'd have to thumb through all my journals and reread them to find my ultimate favorite, but I'm sure it'd have a mixture of excitement and action. (Now I'm in the mood to watch The Matrix. )

It was absolutely terrifying. I couldn't quite easily get to sleep for a good few nights afterwards...and yes, it did make me re-evaluate what I know about my mum, though not really seriously

Sorry to hear that. Yeah, I'm still glad I had that dream because of that happiness I felt and because even after it ended it's still got a lot of emotions tied to it when I recall it.

And yeah, I'd have to do that too, assuming I've written all my favourite dreams down. And I can't be bothered to read them all... It's always a good time to watch The Matrix

That's good that you didn't take the dream too seriously. Can you imagine if we all did that? No one would look at each other the same.

I hear you with going through and rereading them all. Especially depending on how many and how detailed it can get. I used to have a system down where I would rate my dreams (like how people rate movies), but eventually I couldn't keep track and stopped doing it.

(Looks like it's time for me to watch The Matrix. )

Your 'all-time favorite' Um too many to name, so I'll just give a couple

From time to time, I'll have these odd spy dreams, and there was one where I was sniping with some exotic chick on an island. After eliminating all the targets, we sexed each other something fierce.

Dream Sharing with Kaomea was pretty awesome as well.

I've fought a lot of people in dreams, but one of my favorites was fighting Mickey Mouse.

Your 'most terrifying' Earliest nightmare I could remember. Getting slowly ran over by a car with buzz saws underneath it. There's also a slew of SP hallucinations. One of them I was being choked by an invisible force, only to look in the mirror and see several shadowy figures choking me.

Your 'most enlightening' There was one where I was lucid at a theme park. All the DC's actually knew I was in charge, and that they were apart of my dreams. It was pretty mind blowing.

      Your 'happiest/saddest'

There's a reoccurring DC that I've come to simply refer to as "HER". She always shows up when I'm really really depressed, and when I become lucid, she still has sentience about her that makes me wonder what is she really there for. It be something simple, like to make me feel better, or maybe she's actually out there in the real world.

Saddest had to be any of those dreams where I was cry, and woke up and had to check. I don't remember them as far as the details, but I just remember how I felt after words.

Bonus: Vision I kept having reoccurring dreams that the girl I was talking to was having sex with other guys. Turns out that was the case in real life. She was married, cheating on him with multiple guys, and I was next in line.

Ooh, nice! We don't forget those kinds of dreams, do we?

Lol! That had to be epic. Or just plain funny.

Holy moly. I'd be freaked out too. O.o Thank goodness I've never had any terrifying SP experiences. What do you do to overcome something like that? Just remember it's a side effect/hallucination? It sounds so real.

That would be pretty amazing. I can't wait to have a lot more lucid experiences.

There are definitely some dream characters that don't seem like they're just a figment of the dreaming mind. They have too much depth and personality that seems separate from our own being.

That's too bad that she did that. It's interesting though that your dream was either warning you about her, or maybe bringing up some unconfirmed feelings you had about her or something.

      Thanks for sharing! ^_^

Yeah, it was Mickey from Kingdom hearts. He was jumping all over the place, so it was pretty bad ass.

Sometimes it's just too overwhelming because it's random. If I'm just trying to WILD, and it happens, it's usually not that bad. I've even controlled the hallucinations to a certain degree. But when they pop up randomly, it's a lot harder.

Yeah, I've had a few dreams that told me a lot more about what was going on in waking life. And you're welcome.

I dealt with one of my terrifying hypnagogic experiences by completely forgetting it, apparently. I was going through all my random dreams that I just jotted down over the years but never journalized, and there was one that gave me chills as I was reading it. I wrote down that I was heard voices, mostly children voices, and they were whispering, giggling, and amidst the children's voices was a man's voice as well, and I just knew that it was something horrible. I don't remember that at all and it was crazy to see that written down in my handwriting.

I have this one guy that's popped up in at least 30 of my dreams, and what's strange is he never told me his name either. I just kind of dubbed him 'Ethan' because it was the first name that popped in my head and I didn't want to always refer to him as 'that one guy'. But yes, I think that would be a good idea, or a fun task, to try to find out her name.

Most Terrifying: Any dream where the DCs have their backs turned to me, then snap around to face me like the dramatic chipmunk. (IDK why this scares me but it does)

Most Enlightening: None, as far as I know.

Happiest/Saddest: Happiest dream was where I was in a farmer's market or a harvest fair and someone was dancing and it made me feel really energized. I can't recall any really sad dreams at this point, but I have cried several times in my dreams.

All-Time Favorite: My first real lucid. It felt like I had entered a strange new world and I wanted to explore every part of it.

Most enlightning: Too long to post so.. Can't beleive this dream wasn't on here already... The Woman on the Beach - Dream Journals - Lucid Dreaming - Dream Views

Happiest: I am out on an isalnd with my chemistry class. We are walking along a feild of what appear to be, pumpkin sized strawberries. I pick one up, and examine it. It appears to be... a giant... strawberry. I take a bite out of it. It tastes good.

All time fav: Long lucid dream - Dream Journals - Lucid Dreaming - Dream Views

Terrifying: Torture... person strapping people to tables... cutting them up and playing with insides... he thought he was just having fun with people... I was one of the victims.

      I'll create one: most frustrating

Last night's dream where I performed a reality check but didn't follow up with any others, thereby failing to become lucid because the check I did perform acted as though I were awake. Darnit.
