      Talking Falling asleep to music

I am a huge fan of music, it's a big part of my life and whenever I look up music induced lucid dreaming I just find long mp3s of thunderstorms or beeping or stuff like that when i want to listen to music i enjoy. I did a WBTB last night, woke up at 4:00, couldnt remember my dream, then i went back to bed and got up around 8:00. I recorded that dream, played this artist Radical Face which is very soft sleepy music, and went back to bed again.

My dream was 100% Radical Face based. I dreamt about a Radical Face concert happening, kind of. At one point my friend said some lyrics which i thought was so cool and i was super happy my friend was singing radical face because none of my friends even like my music!

When i woke up I woke to the music playing but the strangest thing is i woke up with about 20 seconds left of the last song in the album. It's like i knew the album was ending and so was my dream!

No signs of lucidity yet, i'm still a newbie but i'm wondering if you guys have ever tried falling asleep to some cool music like the beetles (cool) or bon iver (sleepy) or whatever you guys listen to and how that affects you.

I am not sure if I would ever try that.... I wouldn't be able to fall asleep....even if I hear a tiny noise I can't fall asleep at all

I've fallen asleep to music before, but I woke up like 5 minutes later and had no recall.

I have been falling asleep to music for a while, and I've been chronicling my experiences here: http://www.dreamviews.com/lucid-aids...nts-music.html.
I've had some rather odd experiences, I must say.

Just read through your thread and it is VERY interesting! It motivated me not only to continue listening to music while falling asleep but to listen to the same thing every night, hoping that when i hear some familiar lyrics (which i did in this first dream) that i will realize i'm dreaming and become lucid! Hopefully you'll see me contribute to your thread soon!

Ive never fallen asleep to music before, though I have had some pretty interesting experiences listening to shpongle at night for long periods of time.
I've also tried binaural beats, which tend to knock me out if I try them before bed. In a way they are great for wbtb cus I fall asleep very fast and then wake up a few hours later

Just a side note for LSDdream, I've managed to put lsd dream emulator on an ipod touch, but it was slow. Just thought you might find that cool since you obviously like LSD dream emulator

Great news, bbob619. Let us know how you go.
By the way, I'm doing academic research on external stimuli manifesting in dreams. There's a thread set up here for it, and I'm still looking for contributions. http://www.dreamviews.com/research/1...xperience.html
If you can contribute a dream experience, it's much appreciated.
