Thread: I didn't die in real life yet.

I guess the age old question "If you die in your dreams, do you die in real life?" has been answered: no, no you do not. But two nights ago being the third time I died in my own dreams, I'm not really sure what to think anymore.

The first time, in December 2011, I was in a movie theatre and I looked out of the window to see the most beautiful, clear expanse of space and the cosmos with unbelievably intricate and deeply designed planets. Then the sun exploded. I didn't wake up then; instead, I remained asleep even when the blast incinerated me, and I remember and indescribable feeling of warmth and peace wash over me.

A few months later, in March, I was dreaming of being in my own kitchen talking to someone who I didn't recognize when I suddenly began to cough up blood and quickly die. The dream became interested when, in my dream, I woke up inside it as if I was waking up in real life only to be told that I would be able to replay the events of the dream in an attempt to redo it and not die. I guess I suck at my dream video game, because I died again. I need me some ^^vv<><>BABA[Select][Start].

Two nights ago, I was riding in the back of a pickup in my own neighborhood when someone I knew who was also there activated some remote control that began beheading outrageously fat pigs. Something went wrong with the remote, and another person who I had never seen before took it, fumbling with it before getting it to function properly. Without noticing the change, the pickup was now a schoolbus, and as soon as I was on it, I was walking off in a daze. I was for some reason screaming the name of the person I knew, who collapsed in front of me. A lady my age was telling me to calm down and lie down, and I didn't understand why until I collapsed as well, suddenly feeling as if my whole body had become electric and shocked. In my dream I slipped in and out of whatever consciousness was there and remember fragments of being put on a stretcher and carried to the hospital, where I died.

One question behind all of this dying that I can't figure out:

Why?

Edit: None of these dreams were lucid. They were realistic as hell, but I was completely convinced that I was actually in the waking world until I woke up.
