Question Increase of Dream Recall after starting Medication

These days(few weeks after starting meds for depression) I have multiple dream recalls. Before i would just remember 1 or 2 and i would have to do alot of mantras and training. now i'm having recall without any of that.

The dreams are pretty vivid too and some of them near lucid. WIthout much effort on my part.
Is this a common thing that happens when you're on meds?

voByJunior, It is not much use to us if you don't tell us what medication you are talking about.

How else do we know what to steal from the doctor's medicine cabinet.

As for your question, i don't know
I would guess that it is not completely uncommon to be able to remember and have lucid dreams. I think it tells us that your medication is effective. I would opt for a more natural approach though. To really stick with the recall rather than becoming dependent on medication.

But i don't think just anyone experiences meds in this fashion. I think you have a very good response to them.

You are dependent on food, are you not? Medication is nothing more than a very specific type of food.

To the OP, there are different types of depression medication but yes, it is common for many types of medication, including depression medication, to have an impact on dreams. Tell us which one you are actually taking. Most anti-depressives suppress REM sleep, causing people to have fewer dreams.
