When I wake up I can remember my dreams for like 2 secs and as soon as I grab my dream journal |

DILD stands for Dream Induced Lucid Dream. It happens naturally for some, it can happen randomly,(given that you think about lucid dreaming a lot) or you can practice some techniques to induce it. One of the most popular is Reality checks. There are tutorials on the site about reality checks, go check those out |

When you wake try to relive the experience. I sometimes dont remember the dream but i remember the feeling. Then i put a lot of effort remembering it and when i remember it i relive it again. When i wake up i write the dreams down. I had also problem with remembering a dream but then i started to put much more effort in remembering my dreams and writing them down. Now i only write the dreams that are iteresting. I can recall my dreams nearly perfectly. |

Have you tried waiting a bit after waking up? For me, I might not remember the dream as soon as I wake up. If I lay there completely still, concentrated on trying to remember, I can recall the dream. One time it took 15mins. So for 15min I was laying there telling myself to remember. Then all of a sudden my mind was flooded with the dream. So the memory is there, just have to force it out sometimes. |
