      Thinking in my sleep

      Not dreaming. I'm randomly thinking. I could be coming up with random ideas or a story or a song. It's different from dreaming.
      It's like I'm awake inside my sleeping body (not in the scary way) & I'm just thinking things. Is this a sign of lucid dreaming. Does anyone else experience this.

      That's Nrem - non-REM dreaming. REM dreams are the familiar ones - like little movies you find yourself in, but Nrem dreams are simple streams of thoughts often accompanied by static visual patterns, often a repetitive piece of a song.
