So I have had 3 dreams involving satan for the past 3 days. In all three dreams there was darkness, and I was barely aware of a shadow presence in the background, and knew that it was satan. In the first dream I was an easter bunny and laying eggs, and I was a pure white rabbit. then I got a sword which sometimes turned into a rope, and a shield, and I was trying to fight satan. I was losing horribly, but whenever I got hit I didn't feel any pain. The most I was able to do was in the beginning was say, "in Jesus' name, begone!" and that caused the most pain for satan, and it hissed back, "Don't say that name!". The dream felt like an epic fight, cuz I was giving it everything I have, while I couldn't even scratch satan. In the dream I was aware that satan had turned everyone against me and I was hated by all these random people because of him. The sword would sometimes turn into a rope so that I could get around all the different platforms that appeared. In the last part of the first dream, I had the rope around satan, and using that to hold onto the platform cuz I was about to fall off the platform, and then satan got a huge pearly white grin, and it was kind of like the cheshire cat grin from alice in wonderland because all I could see of him was the grin, and I woke up.
The second dream has been bothering me the most. As I was going to sleep and starting to dream again, I was surrounded by darkness. Then suddenly I felt this pressure on top of me, and this heavy, hot breathing at my neck. I was disturbed by this, and thought maybe someone was at my bedside, so I woke up for a minute, and when I opened my eyes I saw that no one was there. Then I went back to sleep. When I went back to sleep, I felt the same pressure on top of me again, and the heavy breathing at my neck. Then suddenly instead of being disturbed i was aroused by a figure I couldn't even see, just feel so vividly. then satan said something like, "if you want it, worship me". I then said meakly and barely, "I worship Jesus". then it disappeared almost instantly, and the dream progressed through random stuff for the rest of the night.
In the third dream, as I was falling asleep, I thought I saw a flash of a face that was red and black, and then an upside down pentagram. I woke up from that, and then went back to sleep. Sometime later I went back to sleep, and again, for the third time, but this time later on in the dream, satan. He was in the background saying something about how, "it is time to deceive and manipulate". I woke up right after that because I didn't want to have yet another encounter. What does it all mean?

Analyze any recently awakening anxieties or tense relationships with people that you might have in your waking life. One of them is probably causing these dreams.

I don't really have a lot of relationships with people. I mostly just see my family and relatives. I sort of see people when I'm at school but I don't have any friends in real life.

Satan is pressuring you. He knows you want something that's evil. He says it's time to deceive and manipulate.

Maybe satan wants you to do something like call in sick and take the day off? Are you stressed in waking life?

I always sinned and called in sick while going to school growing up because I was so upset about being an outcast and hated by so many people. I have excuses but I lied a lot to stay home and I shouldn't have. I am stressed out because I'm 25 and still at community college. I'm about to start a job part time too, and I'm afraid that my mental illness will cause me to fail and to eventually become homeless. I'm also stressed out because i went to a four year college for four years before all of this and raked in a huge amount of debt, but dropped out my fourth year. My dad took pretty much all the debt, but i want to pay him back someday, but I'm afraid that I never will.

You're starting a new job? Maybe the temptation to keep the money rather than pay off your debt is what is causing satan to appear in your dreams. That or something else related to your new job.

It seems clear that your many stresses are causing these dreams. Its very natural. I notice that you used the word "sinned" when you began to list your sources of anxiety. Often what happens in the dream world is that you manifest that which is already inside of you. You seem to already have a religious inclination therefore your particular stress dream manifests itself with a dark entity that you "recognize". It is to say a man that has more of a science-fiction inclination may stress dream of alien abductions instead. My advice to you is not to cower away from these dreams, rather invite them in. I think your subconscious is expressing a need for personal changes. When you begin to work towards positive solutions in your waking life these dreams should subside.

Yeah maybe. I've been struggling with tithing. I'm on social security right now because of my mental illness, but I don't tithe. I just keep the money for me and my family. I've been thinking that once I go off of social security and get a job, that I'll tithe, but it's tempting to just keep the money to pay off the debt. I'm afraid also that if I go do the job, but then fail, that I won't be able to go back on social security. thank you dolphin, I hope everything works out too.

I could probably due with some personal changes, but it's so hard to change. I really struggle with hating myself and wanting to die, but I haven't made any attempts at suicide.

You're right, personal changes can be daunting. Right now I'm struggling with just stopping to say, "I hate you" out loud to myself all of the time. It seems like something that would be easy to do, but it's not. By all means, preach away.
