      Sleeping pattern

My sleeping pattern is currently messed up, it's now 3.09 in the UK.

For a good sleeping schedule it's best to go asleep before midnight. Would it help if I had like 4 hours sleep today then stay awake all day and go to bed early? I really hate the way am sleeping now, it needs sorting out.

Maybe. I've tried things like that because it logically makes sense, but I somehow just manage to stay awake the same length of time if not longer anyway, so personally it never seemed to work for me. But that's probably just me.

Is your current schedule actually causing you a problem in terms of getting enough sleep or getting along with the rest of society, etc.? I would only worry about it if it is. Personally, I kind of gave up on changing the way my sleep rhythm works and instead decided to accept and work around it—but I also happen to be in a situation where I can afford to do that.

A lot of times, if I am having trouble getting to sleep, I will just stay up all night and go to bed the next day when I am supposed to go to sleep. The biggest problem with this is that it kind of lowers your recall pretty bad for that night and 3 nights after it. :/
