Thread: I dreamed I was a goat

last night I was feeling feverish. My forehead was burning and I could almost feel a pain between my eyes. As I fell asleep, I became aware of things that I had not experienced in my waking life. I looked around, and I was strangely surprised to realise that I had 4 legs. Yes, I was indeed some sort of animal. It was odd, because it felt exactly like I was a goat. I may have been a sheep, but I saw other goats around me so I just assumed I was a goat. I saw that my friends around me were consuming the grass on the hillside, so I decided to do the same. It tasted good. Nice and fresh with the morning dew.

What a strange dream this was indeed, I thought. But then, things got even weirder. Out of nowhere, a black shadow loomed over the horizon. It's darkness filled a terror in me like no terror I have ever felt before. This was life or death. Then, it swooped down from the heavens and burned me with it's deadly fire. I screamed in pain as I was burnt alive by the dragon, who then reached down and clasped me between it's jaws, garrotting me instantly.

As I woke I was relieved to find it had only been a dream...
