Do you think that we can learn anything from dreams? Some people claim that we can learn things about the future from dreams. What do you think about this idea?

I don't know about precognitive events dream but, we can definitely can learn stuff on how to get over something in you dreams. However, that sometimes takes time to do. That is almost never easy.
      Future dreams can be subjective.

Yes, absolutely. Some people have claimed to have dreamed of specific events, that then played out in real life.

I believe, and this is just my personal belief - but I'm not the only one, that dreaming is somehow connected to the formation of our life path; our future. We are literally dreaming our life into existence. The way we act in dreams affects the path that our waking life takes. That's why it's so important to practice virtues / good habits in real life. Not just because it will add to your overall happiness, but because it changes how you act in your non lucid dreams. Practice something (honesty, respect, etc.), and watch how your dream-self practices it, within the story of the dream. Then, synergistically, the dreams go better for you, and your future is now on a more positive path too!

Crazy theories aside, at a more basic level, dreams definitely can be used for psychotherapy. I've done this with PTSD and night terrors, using lucid dreams to integrate lost aspects of myself. That's on the extreme end, though, and if you're interested in it, look up Carl Jung and "shadow work." Even more basic is just regular dream interpretation, which, when done correctly, can help show you the parts of your own personality that you don't want to know about. Getting over that ego can GREATLY improve your life.

It's possible? Many artists tap into their subconscious when dreaming. And how do people come up with new inventions, novels? songs? movie plots? Day & night time dreaming is healthy and can tap into your brain’s potential.

Can we learn from dreams ?
From my experience , yes .
I have had music lessons in my dreams , showing me where to put my fingers , how to play chords , and when I woke up , applying the lessons enabled me to play the pieces I was trying to learn .
I make instruments and have had dreams instructing me on wood thicknesses and brace carving ; applying the dream information , the instruments I made were very good sonically .
I have had dreams about what friends were going through and what was going to happen to them that were prescient .
I have had dreams about what is going on in the world that were very insightful.
Of course , I have dreamed about myself ; my dreams have shown me how I could be a better person .
