never have nightmares. Well, when I do got them I am always in charge of them. If some evil creature is trying to kill me then I go hide and laugh or fight back.

Thinking about DG's made me also remember some dreams I had when I was maybe 3-4 years old. I had these series of nightmares when I was always in a really dark place and suddenly 3 ghosts appeared and try to kill me. My first dream they tried to do it with a regular gun (the guns got bigger and bigger for each dream). But then my protector showed up, a little friendly ghost. He always had a newer and better gun than the bad guys and always killed them. We got really close to eachother, IRL my friendly feelings didn't go away since I knew I now had a protector in my dreams. Then there was that last dream..
As usual I was in the dark place and the bad guys showed up, this time with bazookas. My ghost-friend showed up, also with a bazooka. This time, they all died. I started crying in the dream and I got sad IRL to.

None of them ever showed up since. But the weird part is this dreams happened night after night and I remember them so clearly I can recall them today!

Does anybody know why I had these dreams? I think they occured during a 2-week-streak

I'm sorry to say that I cannot answer your question, but I am interested also in an answer, as I remember the nightmares I used to have at a very young age. It seemed to not make sense at the time, and looking ack on it, it still doesn't. But, I can recall it clear as crystal.

i used to have TONS of tornado dreams in my childhood. and dreams where the end of the world was going to occur in like an hour and all my dream characters where freaking out and i was freaking out and it was terrifiying. it was one of those things where you had to be there to expirience it lol.

anyway in response to your post... your ghosts could possibly relate to your subconscious or could have symbolized an aspect of your waking life. and the fact that both your ghost friend and the bad ghosts destroyed each other and have not been back could mean that something could have ended or been resolved in yourself or your life. well at least thats why i think in terms of dream interpretation. and i am implying that they are an aspect of yourself unless you feel that they are real spirits, but i would doubt that since this was a reoccuring dream and also that spirits cant kill themselves.

Edit: will correct me if i'm wrong, but i doubt that spirits can kill themselves... but my point is that why would spirits (in this case) do the same thing each time. why would they do this over and over, and also the way they acted. it seems more like your mind doing stuff.

i used to dream of a monster in the closet that would pull me in like the movie boogieman, occassionally though we'd get along just fine, although i was still afraid of him. One time we talked and i asked if he is a frined. I think your dreams are normal, manifesting a protector, maybe your DG, I beleive you can bring him back if you want, remember its your world
