I wonder if the idea of controlling my dreams has improved the quality of my dreams overall. I mean, I've only had one slight brush of lucidity since I started exploring the idea of lucid dreaming, but I seem to be having better non-lucid dreams anyway. It's like I know I can control it, but not to the extent that I consciously realize it within the dream and can act upon it. I think the knowledge of lucid dreaming in itself could be making my dreams more pleasant. All my being-chased-dreams, for instance, end well. I either escape or make friends with my pursuers. I win most fights. I get a lot of female attention. And I've not even had a proper, genuine, fully clear lucid dream.
Of course, this doesn't have to be linked to me exploring the idea of lucid dreams. It could just be that I'm feeling well lately, so my dreams reflect my newly found contentment. I'm not sure. Discuss, if you will.
