      Yes.

I've started playing video games again (after being clean for a few months because of college). I've had video game dreams since I began playing video games at 4.

The dreams about the games I play are usually in 3rd person with the video game character(s) making constant references to RL issues or they're in RL places but it's rendered to blend in with the game (places like in my college, home, Target, etc). It's irritating and it's a shame I don't notice its a dream most of the time.

Yes, I have video game dreams sporaticly. One of my favorites was playing halo in a dream and I was sucked into the TV. Not as myself, or Master Cheif, but as an elite... Man that was a strange experience, especially when you die and revert to the last checkpoint... Wtf.

I dream of games often. If I play too much Animal Crossing, then I get lucids of Animal Crossing referencing the game AND RL. Funny, never happens with The Sims though. I can play it all day, and have never had one lucid about it.

If you suppress an urge in the day, either because it is "impossible" for you at that time, or because it was suppressed subconsciously, you shall find yourself dreaming of such things.

I have realised this is the same (for me) with past dreams.
I.e., If i have awoken, before an urge was satisfied, or if i suppressed an urge, in a lucid dream, i shall possibly have a normal dream, in relation to such content.
You merely have to change your point of view slightly, and then that glass will sparkle when it reflects the light.

any dreams about the games, shows clearly that you are more than enought adicted to them... it is not enough for you to play in real.. so you even dream them.. lol

I disagree. I'll often dream about games or movies after playing or seeing them once. You can't always choose every dream that you have. If something is stuck in your mind, even after seeing it once, you have a very good chance of dreaming about it. It does not necessarily imply addiction.

Anything that gets me fully immersed, a movie, book, videogame, will change my dreams. For me, it changes the point of view more than anything. I will have a regular dream about walking around town, but I will be experiencing it from a Diablo point of view. I will be having a dream about being in a work meeting, but I will be watching it with the same directoral style as the movie I was just watching.

The thing that always confuses me, is that I can't do something that requires a separate point of view in my dream. If I try to play a videogame, I will turn on the computer, load it up, but then be IN the operating system, and IN the game. It's like I can't take my attention away from the dream world without it shifting to whatever I'm focusing on.

Yeah man I dreamt that I was playing warcraft 3 but like commanding the units IRL and I had to make a bunch of archers win a fight against troll headhunters. It was pretty tite.

EVE Online! My dreams usually look better than the actual game...go figure. I usually get game dreams the first month or two into my actually playing them. After the newbie period, the game dreams trail out.

I used to play world of warcraft and would only ever seem to dream about it when I played the game to much. Also quite recently I had a vivid dream about Halo 3, my dreams are also better than the actual game. Lol

I occasionally dream of playing video games even though I haven't played any for many years. It's one of my rarer dream signs.

No dream goals at the moment...just flying and letting stuff happen is kinda fun, and it's hard to motivate myself to try LDing lately.

I know my ex bf used to dream about gaming when we were playing DAoC. I stayed up late playing one night and came to bed after he was long asleep. I leaned over to give him a kiss and he smacked me in the face gently - kind of pushing me away- and said "I dont want to do that quest yet"

I did have one dream about games (going by my parents complaining about me screaming about demons there must be more but this is the only one I remember). I wasent lucid but I remembered because it had people from my class in it....About Doom 3, running around gunning them down like a deathmatch game...then I got stuck in a room and threw a nade in...and poof I awake and was shocked that I managed to remember it.
