DREAM CHARACTERISTICS: |
|
i think I found a new type of LD. I call it ACLD. Awakening Controllable Lucid Dream. It is when u wake up and you are dillusional. U get to the DEL (dillusional) state when u wake up BEFORE your REM period Ends. These kinds of dreams are not as much dreams as they are hallucinations. I consider them as dreams because they are not entirelly controled. The plot, setting, and DC (Dream Characters for new members) or DG (Dream Guid) are not controlled by you. These are the work of the brain i suppose. This type of LD is induce when you wake up before your REM period is over. You may think normal things are different, EX. I woke up into ACLD and thopught my alarm clock was a phone. I was searching my bed for the "phone" and couldn't find it. i zoned out and couldn't hear the "phone", but i still pressed the snooze button out of reflex. Your math and normal logic are all screwed up. So, about the "dream": |

HOW TO TRIGGER THIS "EVENT"- |
|
I'll try it this weekend and give you my experiance with attempting it. |

k thanx. |

I'm really sorry but I have to reschedule. Death in the family and I don't really have the time and mental strength right now to start attempting a new method. |

Wow, that sounds really cool! It's almost like WILD exept your awake. I think I've actually had this happen to me once! My mom woke me up for school (this was when I was in 3rd or 4th grade) and I sat up and said, "The crow calls!" She looked puzzled, so I repeated, "You know, the crow calls!" I got out of bed and walked to the bathroom, but the whole time I was in a trance. Once I got to the bathroom, I suddenly snapped out of it and thought, "What in the world did I mean by that???" I asked my mom if I had really said it, and she said that I had. |

I may have had something like this this morning. My dad woke me up to go to work, but I just closed my eyes again. I got out of bed, went downstairs, greeted my dad, sat down at the table for breakfast, then woke up in bed with my dad calling me again. I don't think there was anything unusual happening. It's almost like a false-awakening in reverse. |

Im glad that you found something you enjoy. The only problem is that LD stands for Lucid dream, which you already know. But in order for the dream to be lucid you have to be aware you are dreaming and be able to control it. So this is not any type of lucid dream. Therefore cannot be any type of lucid dreaming method and im sorry to say i dont think you discovered anything except for sleep paralysis... |
|
Regardless there is no such thing as another type of lucid dreaming. There is lucid dreaming, and then there is non-lucid dreaming. Maybe you meant another method of lucid dream induction? Sorry if i seemed rude, i apparantly have not understood your meaning very well. |

Lol... there is no such thing... it has a name of its own. What would you call it like lucid dreaming the 2nd? |
|
This sounds like a false awakening where you wake up but still think you are dreaming. |
|
well, it might be, except you are not dreaming, and there is an interval of time between the waking point and the ACLD incuction poinnt, about 20 sec- 5 mins. You just have to be triggered into thinking something enough to get a small, non-vivid, awake "Dream", or Hallucination, much like the "Lucid Hallucination" that that other guy pointed out. |
