Thread: Coincidence

Not sure how this is going to sound, but here goes. There is a dream I just can’t shake off at the moment. About two months ago I dreamt about an ex-girlfriend who I had not seen for about 10 years. It was such a nice dream that I woke up totally loved up and determined to try and track her down. I didn’t have any contact details so I searched around on facebook etc, with no luck. Tried to find some of her friends or relatives, but no luck. Fair enough, the feeling passed after a day or so, and I thought no more about it. Fast forward to two weeks ago. I’m out with some friends and we meet up with some girls, and there’s one I hit it off with straight away. We have a great couple of days/nights together, unfortunately for a number of reasons it can never be. Totally out of character for me, but this person really knocked my world upside down. So, I’m sitting around pining when the memory of this dream hits me like a steam train. Now, here’s the coincidence-the girl I met has the same name as this ex I dreamt about, and there are loads of correlations between the way that dream went and how this mini relationship panned out. It really is as though I had a premonition that I would meet this person, but because she had the same name as this ex, I assumed it was about her. So now I’m getting over the fling, but I can’t shake the whole weird and mysterious feeling this dream has left me with.
