Thread: Taking a photo in a dream

That's pretty intense mate.

That certainly is weird. O_o I think that would freak me out if I dreamed it.

My photography dreams always just seem to involve me having trouble taking photos--the camera malfunctions, I can't get a good view, the thing I was going to photograph changes or disappears before I can get it, etc. Irritating.

What annoyed though is that i thought it was normal untill i woke up.

Agh I have tried so many times, all in non-lucids. I can never get the camera to work, but usually I'm more worried about damaging it... dropping, slamming, falling into water while photographing. In fact I've had a few dreams where it was broken, or stolen, or whatever.

I take photos of wildlife, so they are usually the subjects of these dreams. In fact once I tried to make it into a dream sign, because I went through a series of dreams where I was trying to photograph marine animals... polar bears, manatees, whales, then some coral and shells. In the dream with the whales, it was night and although I got my camera to work, it was too dark for a fast shutter speed (I even had a tripod!), and the photos all came out on the LCD like those long exposure photos of streets and cars.
