      Tonight, I want a Sci-Fi dream. How the hell do I do that?

      I want a crazy dream that is like a sci fi movie, and is on some crazy forign planet with crazy aliens. Any advice on how to induce this? It doesn't need to be lucid, in fact I prefer a non-LD. Thnaks!

      Watch a movie, play a videogame. Go to bed!

      Simple as that. Use these mediums until you are temporarily obsessed.

      Just inject like 5 sci fi movies into my brain and watch maybe a Sci Fi slide show? Does that brain-flooder thing work?

      I got Star Wars 4-6, 2001: A SPACE ODDESY, and Silent Runnings lined up. Any other suggestions?

      try using the brain flooder and putting a whole bunch of crazy aliens movie posters that youve already seen, pictures of space and artists impressions of other planets and aliens that should work, but be warned you dont always get what youre lookin for with the brain flooder!

      You may just want to try using imaginative exercises prior to falling asleep to incubate a dream. Imagine a sci-fi scenario you find most interesting, and put yourself in it. Try to imagine it as vividly as possible, imagine smells, textures, touch sensations, colours, sounds, etc. Maintain this as long as possible before falling asleep, and try to keep it as vivid as possible. It's natural (though some argue it isn't) for the mind to wander, however, so you'll likely find yourself off-topic at points. No worries, just jump right back into your story. As you get more close to the threshold of sleep, however, things begin to get blurred and nonsensical. This is alright, since the goal of this exercise is to get your mind set on something that it can remember as soon as higher-thought resumes during REM cycles. Obviously this has it's drawbacks (since major dreaming doesn't occur for hours following the initial fall to sleep), but if you coupled this with spending the day watching movies or playing games, you may find better results.

      You just need to THOUGHT-TRAVEL - That is inter-dimensional mind travel via the dream device known as "sleep programming". I will show you how to thought travel to The Andromeda Galaxy.

      Just say the following OUT LOUD before you go to sleep:

      "I WISH TO GO TO THE ANDROMEDA GALAXY."

      Then go to sleep and your mind will exceed the speed of light and just "appear" in Andromeda.

      Here is a Chart for you to THOUGHT-TRAVEL in this solar system: Each day of the week corresponds to a "favorable day" to THOUGHT-TRAVEL to the planets of this solar system (with some exceptions)

      SUNDAY = THE SUN (A LIGHT WORLD - The Garden of Eden is on this Light World)

      MONDAY = The Moon (Avoid THOUGHT-TRAVELING there - some of the minds there are not too stable)

      TUESDAY = Mars

      WEDNESDAY = Mercury ( A very advanced world - with technology about 350 years ahead of earth)

      THURSDAY = Jupiter

      FRIDAY = Venus ( for some reason, there are a lot of nude women on this world)

      SATURDAY = Saturn ( Avoid THOUGHT-TRAVELING to this world at all costs!)

      Also avoid THOUGHT-TRAVELING to Jupiter's moon known as EUROPA.

      Good luck and sweet dreams

      I tend to get a lot of Stargate (or other generally sci-fi) dreams after watching a few episodes of Stargate SG-1. That's just me, though.

      Seriously, though, you should watch some Stargate if you don't already, and try to get a lucid dream going involving the stargate. Just walk right on through it and after being sucked through a wormhole, there you are - another strange world, just where you wanna be.

      When I saw Sci-Fi in the title of this I got really, really excited

      As they've said. Watch clips, think about it, maybe visually incubate some dreams?

      I THOUGHT-TRAVELED to Saturn and I was warned not to go back.
      EUROPA, I just was warned. The moon advice is mine personally -
      I am still investigating safety issues about it.

      I am looking basically for other life forms and planets where you can clearly see other planets/suns/moons.

      I was on the fence, but I'll wait for something better. Thanks again for the pics, I am building up a collection and plan to try a brainflooder combined with autosuggestion tonight. I will post tomorow. Thanks, Shift!

      It worked! I tried dream incubation and watched 10 seconds of brain flooder, and I had a dream about me being an astronaunt going to the moon or somthing. I don't remember it entirely, but I do know it worked. Then I had a FA and other things happeded. I'm gonna work on the brain flooder tonight.
