Watch a movie, play a videogame. Go to bed! |

I want a crazy dream that is like a sci fi movie, and is on some crazy forign planet with crazy aliens. Any advice on how to induce this? It doesn't need to be lucid, in fact I prefer a non-LD. Thnaks! |

try using the brain flooder and putting a whole bunch of crazy aliens movie posters that youve already seen, pictures of space and artists impressions of other planets and aliens that should work, but be warned you dont always get what youre lookin for with the brain flooder! |

I have a dream...
You may just want to try using imaginative exercises prior to falling asleep to incubate a dream. Imagine a sci-fi scenario you find most interesting, and put yourself in it. Try to imagine it as vividly as possible, imagine smells, textures, touch sensations, colours, sounds, etc. Maintain this as long as possible before falling asleep, and try to keep it as vivid as possible. It's natural (though some argue it isn't) for the mind to wander, however, so you'll likely find yourself off-topic at points. No worries, just jump right back into your story. As you get more close to the threshold of sleep, however, things begin to get blurred and nonsensical. This is alright, since the goal of this exercise is to get your mind set on something that it can remember as soon as higher-thought resumes during REM cycles. Obviously this has it's drawbacks (since major dreaming doesn't occur for hours following the initial fall to sleep), but if you coupled this with spending the day watching movies or playing games, you may find better results. |

You just need to THOUGHT-TRAVEL - That is inter-dimensional mind travel via the dream device known as "sleep programming". I will show you how to thought travel to The Andromeda Galaxy. |

I tend to get a lot of Stargate (or other generally sci-fi) dreams after watching a few episodes of Stargate SG-1. That's just me, though. |

Final Fantasy VI Rules!
Total LDs: 10 | WILDs: 4 | DILDs: 5 | DEILDs: 2
"Take atheism, for example. Not a religion? Their pseudo-dogmatic will to convert others to their system of beliefs is eerily reminiscent of the very behavior they criticize in the religious."
I haven't seen Stargate, is it good? |

When I saw Sci-Fi in the title of this I got really, really excited |

I am looking basically for other life forms and planets where you can clearly see other planets/suns/moons. |

I was on the fence, but I'll wait for something better. Thanks again for the pics, I am building up a collection and plan to try a brainflooder combined with autosuggestion tonight. I will post tomorow. Thanks, Shift! |

It worked! I tried dream incubation and watched 10 seconds of brain flooder, and I had a dream about me being an astronaunt going to the moon or somthing. I don't remember it entirely, but I do know it worked. Then I had a FA and other things happeded. I'm gonna work on the brain flooder tonight. |
