      How is it that...

      In dreams, we see people we have never before seen in real life?

      I guess this thread can serve as a place for speculation about how or why something is in dreams.

      Actually, you have seen those people before. You just don' know it.

      Your brain can work wonders. Even if you see someone for a split second, your brain can instantly catch them and store what they look like in your subconscious. You may not be able to recall what they look like, but your brain can, and it does so in your dreams.
