      Sleep on back of head

i have only had lucid dreams a few times was i was very young and two or three times since.... but i found that i definitely have more vivid, complex, memorable dreams if i fall alseep flat on my back and back of my head.. of course its the hardest way for me to fall asleep....

i think alot of my dreams i actually am lucid and dont realize it.. if that makes sense.. i kind of know it most of the time, wen wen i realize it for sure it shocks me out of the dream..

Are you about 40 yrs old ?

You sound like my dad. lol

Trying going to bed at night laying on your back. While your laying there.. keeping telling yourself "its just a dream" as you fall asleep. See if anything special happens.

And yes, dreaming more vivid while on your back in common. I sometimes sleep on my back on purpose just to see what kind of dreams I have.

I heard sleeping on your back can help to trigger sleep paralysis when you wake.

That it can, I've slipped into a sleep paralysis before. Not fun, at all. :[

ah my cousin keeps telling me he wont sleep on his back because he gets nightmares. I thought it was a stupid theory, but he might actually be right then? that's weird

Well, sleeping on your chest compresses your lungs a little, making breathing slow down. I think that this can put us in a deeper sleep, maybe we don't remember as many details this way... But that is just speculation.

If on your back helps, do it.

hmm... thats a way of thinking about it.. but, for some reason i think its more pressure on the bottom of my head for some reason.. nothing to back that up really just the positions i was in wen i woke up and fell asleep made me think it was from my head not my back.. i dont know tho, wat u said sounds good..

I don't think this is totally safe. When I wake up on my chest, usually it's because I can't breathe and I wake up breathing hard.
If you see a strange typo in my post, blame my iPad for that.
