Are you about 40 yrs old ? |

i have only had lucid dreams a few times was i was very young and two or three times since.... but i found that i definitely have more vivid, complex, memorable dreams if i fall alseep flat on my back and back of my head.. of course its the hardest way for me to fall asleep.... |

I heard sleeping on your back can help to trigger sleep paralysis when you wake. |

夢-Yume
Goals:
Roll Jiu-jitsu with Frank Mir [So close!], Time travel to Sengoku-Jidai era Japan [ ], Talk to Kurosawa Akira [ ], Explore space/the depths of the Ocean [ ], and RULE THE WORLD (long term goal in my LD'ing) [ ].
That it can, I've slipped into a sleep paralysis before. Not fun, at all. :[ |

i remember when i was a child and my mom would tell me not to sleep on my back. i would have bad dreams and wake up during the night time quite often. |
|
i didnt know so many people would agree so fast... no im not 40, just 23. |
|
Well, sleeping on your chest compresses your lungs a little, making breathing slow down. I think that this can put us in a deeper sleep, maybe we don't remember as many details this way... But that is just speculation. |
|
Bollocks.
hmm... thats a way of thinking about it.. but, for some reason i think its more pressure on the bottom of my head for some reason.. nothing to back that up really just the positions i was in wen i woke up and fell asleep made me think it was from my head not my back.. i dont know tho, wat u said sounds good.. |

If you see a strange typo in my post, blame my iPad for that.
