I'm no good with interpretations, but I can tell that you really like him. So maybe your sub-conscious is trying to get you to spend more time with him.

Not that often, but my crushes will appear in my dreams too, and they won't be romantic either. I don't think that you're the only one who dreams about your crushes.

They're never lustful or containing sex or anything like that, just romantic.

HA. Whenever I dream about a crush, they're not being all that nice. My dreams tend to turn my crush into an enemy...

I hear ya! I keep having dreams about my crush nearly every night and when I do, it's never Lucid.

It seems to me that quite a lot of the time when something is very personal and means a lot to the dreamer, your mind doesn't let you know you're dreaming, it's almost ironically like a protective shield! Yet, I'd much rather know I was dreaming when he's around in the dream so that I can know that it isn't real and enjoy it while it lasts instead of believing so much that he's going to be near when I wake up.

Mainly I think the reason why we dream about crushes so much is because we think about them a lot of the day. I think about mine an awful lot and it's been years since I've seen the guy. If you dreamt once or twice about them, they're not that important to you or you don't think of them that way. If your crush populates your dreaming, it must mean he hangs out in both your conscious state and subconscious state an extremely high percentage of the time.

It reminds me of Mauly in Inception.
