      Post I need to wee!

What I've found, is that if am asleep and all of a sudden I need to urinate, and I happen to be dreaming at the time, is that I will run around in my dream like a lunatic, looking for a toilet. Either that, or I get a horrible discomfort in my pants, which dominates the dream completely. I have never wet the bed though(lucky me).

      Anyone else have similar experiences?

Maybe don't drink so much right before bedtime.

LOL, sadly yes...I have ruined so many lucids because when I got lucid, at the same time I'd realize that I kinda had to pee.

Sometimes I would run into more devious DCs would would lead me into a bathroom and make me realize I had to go so I'd wake up. Bastards....

I just try to tell myself that, hey, I'm lucid, so I can get up and go anytime I want to. I just tell myself that I might as well enjoy the dream for at least 5-10 minutes first. Sometimes I even forget I needed to go at all when I do this. But it's pretty hard to do, depending on how long I've been asleep.

You can use needing to wee and looking for a toilet as a dreamsign.

Heh, I haven't had both a need to pee, and an LD at the same time though. But I suppose if that works for some people, hey.

I had this last night. I was on a campsite and was bursting for a piss. I saw a man in the distance taking a piss against a wall and I though to myself, "I can't do that, you'd see my bits and everything" so I eventially woke up and really did need a piss.

I usually have to pee in my dreams, non lucids. I usually just pee inside the dream. So far ive never wet the bed when ie done it.

Also, when i pee in the dream, I pee A LOT.

First of all go lucid right? Then conjure up a toilet, is it really that hard. And on the serious side of things, hold off on the liquids before bed.

      How about this?

Drink lots of water right before bed. Then say "when I see a toilet I will be dreaming".

Ooooh, there's a good idea! Only, like I said, when I'm lucid it puts me in danger of waking up because I always believe I need to go a lot more than I really do once I wake up...so when I see a toilet in a lucid dream or get lucid from seeing one...I run away and try to think about something else, lol.

I have to agree, that sounds like a good idea. The only problem I will face, is the urge of needing to urinate overtaking the dream, and waking me up.

Just start peeing on the ground wherever you are, you might find that after a a bit of peeing you find that you don't really need to any more.
And you may find you have to wash your sheets in the morning.

      Ugh yes, same.

I've had some awful recurring dreams regarding having to go to the bathroom. And sadly, once or twice I really did wet myself (how embarrassing is that, ugh). So I have a lot of anxiety about going to the bathroom in dreams now, bad enough that I usually wake up (though there was one time where I had about 7 false awakenings in a row and went to the bathroom in each one! By the time I really woke up, I was completely disoriented and was repeatedly asking my bf if I was in reality...)

I had no idea other people dreamed about this though...
