Help! I can't recall any dream!

      Dear dreamers,

I have recently joined this forum to improve my dreaming life and eventually control the lucid dreams. I have started a dream journal the morning after joining the forum, not with a dream but with an image I saw before falling asleep. I thought that would be the beginning of my journal.

However, since that day I had no dreams at all. My recent sleeping history is the same, without dreams. It is very sad to wake up and feel that everything is exactly the same... I have lost my sleeping time along time ago. I have been going to bed very late or whenever I was tired and I woke up at different times everyday, sometimes as 7am others at 4pm. This must have lasted around 3 years or more since my school schedule has been very irregular.

Only now (5 days ago) I have forced myself into a regular schedule.
11.00 pm to 7.00 making it 8 hours of sleep. I wonder if it should be 9 hours of sleep... I have followed this schedule pretty well so far, only today I slipped for 30 min (11:30 - 7:30), but I think it wont hurt. I feel very well just for this. I fell more productive and more active. I just feel a bit frustrated because of the dreaming thing.

During the first days I didn't expect much since I was just starting the sleeping cycle but now I don't know anymore.
I am doing this post to know more about this. Is there anyone who had this problem and managed to solve it? Or anyone with the problem and didn't solve it? Any ideas what works best?

I thought about the supplements. I don't like the idea of taking stuff. If I can and if it's possible, I prefer to dream without supplements. But if I must, what should I take? I saw the list but it's so much information that I can't decide, and I certainly don't need everything.
I don't mind changing diets, any ideas for a Oneironaut Diet?

I have studied the content of this forum pretty well. I preform some reality checks through the day, but I don't commit to much to it considering the dream problem. I have placed marks around my room with a simplified image of my Avatar and 2 words "Dream Check". I put one of them above my bed. It's the first thing I see as I wake up.

I have trained my self to wake up during the night. I used a technique I saw here on the forum. I don't remember who it was from but I will edit this as soon as I find it. Basically I go to bed a bit thirsty, with a bottle of water by my side. I drink a fresh sip before falling asleep and I wake up around 6 hours later. Drink a bit more and fall asleep. So far it wakes me up one time only during the night. I wish to keep it this way because I don't loose much sleeping time but I still get to remember a possible dream or become more conscious during the REM cycles.

Well...I hope someone can help me with this. I know there are some real gurus of the dream land around here so I would really appreciate some feedback.

      Sweet dreams,
      Dario
