What time period are your dreams in?

I have come to notice that most of my dreams take place in a futuristic world. Many of them are of things that have not happened yet or contain technologies far beyond what we have access to today. I do have dreams in the current and past time periods either right now or back in medieval time but they are few compared to the futuristic ones.

Just was curious what time period you normally dream in and what time period you would prefer to dream in/why.

i usually dream in the present. but most of the time my dreams are so nonsensical that you couldn't put them in a 'time period'. i would prefer to dream in the past if i could..but that's just me. i don't know if i'd like dreaming in the future. but that may be because i'm apprehensive about what might happen in the future.
I am a man. I have nothing to show off. I am just a person withnothingexcept for what I would like to show off, which is nothing.

      Future, present and past.

Future: Usually not too distant, I could count on one hand how often it has been far in the future. Oh, I forgot to add, Any that are set in the far future are either apocalyptic, or during a 'dark age' of advanced technology.

Present: Nearly all dreams I can't assign a date to or that have obvious references to the here and now I just assume are present.

Past: Again, usually not too distant, usually within my time-frame of existence - occasionally there are dreams set before the age of electricity, but they're never set in my home country for some strange reason. Usually India or Pakistan or somewhere near there, Central/South America (somewhere on the North East edge of the Andes mountains) or China. Perhaps some day I will have one about medieval Britain, but not yet as far as I'm aware.

Interesting to see so far that present tense dreams seems to be the more common occurrence.

Now-a-days, most of my dreams take place in the present.
Sometimes, I'll dream I'm my younger self and those around me are their younger selves, but the time is still present.
I can't recall ever dreaming about the future. Even when I dream of aliens and such, it's in the here and now.

I dream a lot of the past too though (but a make believe version).

It's kind of hard to place my dreams in a time period, too. What happens most often for me is I'll be older than I really am, but it will still be the present date. So I guess it's future-present...very confusing

All my best ones appear to be scenery I've witnessed in my past during waking life. The rest I experience are in present time. I hardly ever have dreams set in the future.
