      An interesting experience

Last night in my dream I heard music I had never heard before. It sounded kind of like sound garden, but I've went through all of their music and it wasn't them.
I'm searching everywhere, yet I can't find the song. Is it possible my mind made it up on the fly?
And now.. for a Stephen Strutmeyer Film...

      Oh, certainly.

I've had this before, and it could SEEM like you've heard it before- when you actually haven't! I recall a specific LD, actually, where this happened to me.
If you see a strange typo in my post, blame my iPad for that.

      Oh hell yes.

I've heard music in my dreams that I thought was phenomenal, beautiful, and the best music I'd ever heard. Sometimes music I thought I recognized, or knew the band.

Then I wake up and play and back in my head and it was just random noises and gibberish.

One time there were dog barks and cat squeals in the chorus and I thought it was classical music.

That happened to me too, but the music I had heard actually made sense. In my dream I thought it was the best and most beautiful piece of art I've ever heard, I even managed to play part of it on my guitar when I woke up, but I stopped and forgot about it soon since it was an orchestral song I can't play at home (or couldn't tell anybody how to play it anyway...). I can't remember it anymore now.

      Yeah, me too.

I don't know why, though. Whenever I hear some music in my dreams, I really feel that I've heard it before.

It sounded really familiar to me, but I just couldn't find it.

They're really awsome, so who cares? Just enjoy it when you can.
