Question Do we need 8 hours of sleep...

I am so busy these days, there isn't enough time in a day.

Yet, if I don't get enough sleep I get slow and disorganized, and don't get as much done with my time.

I've been considering to lower my sleeping hours less then 8. I wouldn't consider going lower then 6, but 6 doesn't seem that much either.

Maybe 7 is the way to go...or 6 and a half.

Two things I DO NOT want to compromize, my dreams and my energy.

If I need to lower my hours some, what is managable without getting slow in the head and without losing quality of dreams...

      Thank You for your answers!

From my experience, if you focus on how little sleep you've gotten you're going to be tired. If I don't pay attention to how little sleep I've gotten, I can get by on 4-5 hours sleep no problem. But if something is waking me up an interfering with my sleep, forcing me to focus on how little sleep I'm getting, then those 4-5 hours turns me into one cranky Cusp.

Thanks for the advice. I'll try that out when I lower my hours by not focusing on how little sleep I've gotten.

Maybe if I focus on how I got so much sleep instead it will work out even better!

For me, i know that if I get less sleep, it is harder for me to remember my dreams, or actually induce a lucid one.
