Why doesnt my WILD work

Last night i tried keeping as still as possible. while listening to music to keep my mind awake.. and nothing happened... one time when i felt something.. My whole body shook.. which just ruined my WILD right there.. but i kept trying and then... My dog started barking and would not stop.. in the other room.. Then i heard my brother say Whats going on?" Later i see my door open.. and a shadow move through the crack in the door.. later on i get my lamp on and open the door and my dog wanted in... so i did not fall asleep till 1:20

You're supposed to do WILD after 5-8 hours of sleep, not when you go to sleep. The shock you experienced happens for some people the first time they attempt WILD, and you basically just have to try to stay relaxed and ignore it.

Listening to music sounds like a bad idea.

Wait really?? But i usually get 9 hours of sleep.. and what about if i have a dream.. but i wana WILD.. ARE your sure?? how are you supposed to dream after waking up from a dream again, i dont get it

Well you usually wake up sometimes during the night right? Maybe to go to the bathroom? Try WILD when u've gone to the bathroom in the middle of the night

... But dont actually "try" to hard, let it come to you while u're staying aware.

(ooor.. you can set your alarm to wake u up 5-6 hours into the night or so)

Read the WILD tutorials once more. The majority of them suggest that you get up after some hours of sleep and then stay up for maybe 10 minutes and then attempt WILD.
