I think that about 50% of my nightmares are about genocides or some human-caused apocalypse. The other 50% would be some guys with guns trying to kill me and/or my family.... I've NEVER had normal nightmares like the Boogie Man chasing me or falling or anything like that, not even when I was a little kid! In fact, I think that the genocide nightmare would come up even more frequently when I was younger. I would always just remember the idea that two different groups or countries had some argument which would result in everyone's death or some terrible war. At first I thought that this might have been caused by the fact that I was a kid during 9/11, but I remember not even understanding the significance of 9/11. I thought that type of thing happened every day, and I didn't even find it scary... Is this normal? Hahaha I'm not sure it is...... |

Generally speaking, nightmares play on your true, subconscious fears. Many people have nightmares about demons or ghosts, alligators or spiders, etc. Your fears seem to stem from uncertainty of death involving yourself and your family members and the instability of foreign relationships. This is something we all must accept to sleep peacefully at night and maybe you just think about it a little too much before going to bed. |

There is a battle going on. If you hope to understand it, from the foundation of first principles, it will take you a long time, but I suggest you start your study of Plato. Material can be got free on the internet archive. |
