      First Lucid Dream??

      A few days ago, I was lying in bed having a sleep and a dream also, then as the dream neared an end, I was about to open my eyes, but realized the dream was continuing and I was also aware, I was in my bed sleeping so I said to myself "No dont close my eyes lets see if this goes somewhere" Now the Dream was still the same scene but it felt somewhat less real and only a few seconds later it ended, I opened my eyes and got out of bed, was this a lucid dream first?

      Well I knew it, At the part I said dont open your eyes cause the dream is still going, so yah I did indeed.

      That exact same thing happened to me one time, and then I was too excited to get back into the dream when I woke up

      Yes you were lucid, sort of.. It's progress anyways.
