      Space and other Worlds

Have any of you ever traveled through outer space or explored other planets in a LD?

Would love to hear some of these answers too. On a similar note, while in these space dreams, has anyone had contacted with an alien or something of the sort? I imagine it's quite common.

I, myself, have not had any of these dream experiences.

To be in outer space is essentially my entire reason for lucid dreaming. However, I have never been able to explore it.

In my first extremely vivid lucid dream, I tried, but failed. I was flying, and I just wanted to go further up... but I felt blocked, so I abandoned it in my foolish thirst for further exploration.

I would love nothing more than to float among the planets, riding on a little asteroid -- docking on Mars and walking among a vast, pure isolation.

Have any of you read "The Little Prince"?

Ah to only have a little asteroid planet all to yourself

I have not certain type of experienced. But I have read the little prince. The book is based on a short story that presents a very subtle way, tells us how we have many things in life and also show the way for it. So It is interesting dude.

It's a short kid's book, originally written in French (Le Petit Prince), but now one of the most translated books of all time (190 languages!). It's about a little prince that travels from planet to planet (finally ending at Earth) learning important lessons along the way. It's actually kind of interesting, and the philosophy and what not is what makes it so popular. I just liked the idea of having a whole little planet to yourself, being able to walk from one pole to the other

If you want to read it it's here:

Interesting. I tried to fly to the moon one time, but started falling when I got pretty high (probably did not believe enough in myself).

That's exactly how I felt. Also, I imagine my brain wouldn't know what it looks and feels like to fly in space, so that's also a reason.

      Hey guys, new here...
I used to LD when I was younger (as I kid I was really into everything dreaming ) but stopped due to moving etc... Anyways, I'm planning on getting back to it (after watching Inception, of course...)

I do have a memory of an LD where I was able to fly out to space and travel between planets extremely quickly. I remember flying past the moon and reaching what I think was Jupiter in a matter of seconds. However, before I could land or do anything interesting I woke up.

One time, but it was conceptual. I wanted to visit the "gods" to see how their world was arranged.

What I saw were parallel gosimer threads with drops of dew flowing down them.

A metaphor, I did not know it at the time, found it later.

Line upon line, precept upon precept.

      It referes to ordered understanding.

How about instead of flying to space, try and get on a spaceship.

My first fully lucid dream I flew into space. It was hard to keep the dream stable for long but I managed to go far enough to see the entire earth for a little and it was amazing. I could still breathe but I felt the cold all over my body and felt it in my lungs. I've been working on trying to get to Saturn next but no such luck yet.

If I ever try space exploration I want to tie a rope onto the moon and crash it into mars
