Single Point Bright Light

This morning, while I was having a rather mundane non-lucid dream, there suddenly appeared a single point of SUPER bright light that captured my attention and cause me to become lucid. I thought the sun may have been streaming through my window and getting in my eyes, so I woke up...it was still dark outside. So, has anyone had this happen in a dream and I'd like to get your opinion on the source of the bright light?

I'm thinking it was from external stimuli (although I'm not sure what, if it wasn't the sun).

Do you live close to a street? Maybe it could have been car headlights. You could have seen the headlights and your dream interpreted that external stimuli into the bright light that you saw.

Some creaper probably broke into your house and had a flash light. He was looking around the room and accidently shined the light on your eyes!

Was this "light" at the end of a tunnel?.. lol.. Maybe it was some for of HI? I get really bright lights in my FoV sometimes, kind of as if someone were holding a laser or a light in-front of my face.

My bedroom is located in the back of the house and it's completely secluded back there. Like I said, it was dark when I woke up, not to mention the drapes were drawn. I clearly saw it in my dream, it appeared to the left of me and was extremely bright with brilliant rays emanating from the point - the only reason why I woke up was because it felt like the sun was shining directly into my eyes. And no, there was no tunnel.

A long time ago, when I was using the state to ask questions, I asked the Question: Why do people subjectively identify with reality. After I asked my question, I was flooded with extreemly pure bright light, so bright I could not close my eyes or block it out. I started running in panic, then suddely, the light dimmed and I could see the flowers-beautiful flowers. It is a metaphor, a metaphor about truth and life. Hope you understand it. I meant to ask one question, but worded it wrong, and got the answer to the exact question I asked. Have you ever asked about The Spirit of Truth? The point of my questions is because a single point of bright light makes me assume you had a question on your mind about a single extraordinary individual.

One of the reasons visual metaphor is used is because what ever it is that is answering you knows something about langauge you do not. Language depends on a convention of experience and an equity in abstractual ability. Therefore, you will be answered but often it may take decades to understand the answer because it will take you that long to acquire and process the information needed to understand. It is a higher order language. One of the main functions of language is to manipulate ourselves through time. Therefore we naturally ask questions long before we are able to hear the answer. In fact this is why the Scripture is sealed to man's understanding, exactly the same principles of language he does not yet understand. Reality is the only magic that there is. One might look at religion in this respect, or what has become religion. Man simply asked question that he could not hear the answer to, but not decades in advance, thousands of years in advance. It is a very interesting language. Through the construction of the metaphor, one can lock it for time, and lock it to specific individuals. Fascinating as it is, I have chosen to solve the problems of our more common languages. The most dangerous, and the greatest, myth man has ever faced is that understanding is something easily acquired.

I have never practiced religion and never will. I have dedecated my life to fighting people of your religion, the religion of self important, self delusional dumb asses. Let me briefly outline my doctrine, the only doctrine the Spirit of Truth could believe, or could possibly teach. The human mind is that environmental acquisition system of the human body which must acquire the experiences from which to abstract the forms of behavior that maintain and promote the life of the body. We do that through languages, all languages. And since A = A (i.e. an expression of Truth) i.e. (again) we cannot possibly be different from ourselves, the only thing that it is possible to worship is not gods or man, but our own job. Nothing, gods nor man, can ever change that simple logical fact. So, if you don't like it because I approached the lady as an equal and you as an idiot, it is because she has demonstrated the abililty to reflect and you have not. There is one thing to worship in life, life. There is one thing to constantly strive for, perfection of our own job to that end. And there is one means by which we do it, call it logic, call it grammar, or call it judgment. Oh, read the Scripture, much is written about what I am doing and why.

I really (really) don't care about your religion. If you want to have a discussion please PM me, otherwise it's unfair to the OP to steer this thread off-topic. It's as if you're speaking future english whilst we're all still speaking plain english, and because of this, it's very difficult to understand. I am not the one who took it off topic by not addressing the topic but was attacked what someone else imagined I said. so, take your own advice first. And, the course of events was prior to grammatical interpretation, are you claiming you are ignorant of that also?

In regards to Philosopher's post... I don't see what's not to get. The light was simply a representation of meaning for the conceptual mind to decipher. I think it's evident that the subconscious relates to things in a much different way than the conscious mind, which uses dualism and symbols to put meaning on the world. So when seeking meaning from a dream, which has more subconscious roots, there will be attempts to project meaning in the form of a symbol that you can translate. ie: a different language. Makes sense to me. The only fault I see in this thread is the attack toward somebody who was trying to help...

So when seeking meaning from a dream, which has more subconscious roots, there will be attempts to project meaning in the form of a symbol that you can translate. ie: a different language. Makes sense to me. The only fault I see in this thread is the attack toward somebody who was trying to help... Second difference is, since it has been made clear to me that it is a language--it is the rudiments of telepathy. Something demonstrated, but not understood. However, my work is not aimed at it as a language, it is more advanced than we use today, my work is preparing for it, by teaching the correct principles to what we have already. We use daily language like savages, there is a brave new world ahead. But before I can teach, I must learn all I can and not be a complete fuck up. As far as it being a language, I have been prepared to demonstrate that by what has been given in history--and trust me, there will be a riot. Many people believe that if you quote from a historical text, you are validating man's mythology. You cannot shake them from it, like a very small dog ridding your leg. It has always been about the development of the mind of man--its function and purpose. Now I will put what I just said in a metaphor, which will piss someone off. I was not aware that how much I study, think, and learn was the issue to begin with. Dreams are a language. It was written to be such a long, long time ago, I have learned to communicate a little with it, and I understand some of the principles involved. In fact, the primary purpose of mind is to develope and use language in order to perform its function. One would hardly expect dreams to have a purpose different than the purpose of the mind, now would they? A bright light is a metaphor. We are able to see by the light. The metaphor here refered to mind. The mind functions by tautologies, ie. truth
